I bought this sake, though not in celebration, because it had won the highest gold medal at the Delicious Sake in a Wine Glass Awards. I was looking forward to seeing what kind of sake it would be, as it is a junmai spec sake brewed with koshihikari rice. Immediately after opening the bottle, which was thoroughly chilled, I was impressed by how clear the flavor could be without relying on acidity or gassiness, even in junmai sake🥺 It was not too sweet or too umami, and I liked the balance of the flavor. After the second day, the spiciness and alcohol strength came to the forefront a bit, and I was not as impressed as I was on the first day. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Purchased at Yamatoya Shuho. Sake brewed with food rice makes me nervous about the future of sake brewed with food rice, considering the price increase of white rice.

I bought some fire-activated nigori at the co-op because it looked interesting... so much moromi... !!!!! I looked it up and found that there is also active nigoromi... Sorry I only have a picture of it after mixing! I know the nigori in Niidashizenshuu and the nigori in this season's Sasasamune have a lot of moromi, but this is probably even better than that! The impact is amazing! Isn't it about 70-80% of the bottle? What is this? When you drink it... it's thick! As you can see, the rice flavor is coming forward. There is a slight alcohol taste, but it also has a banana smoothie-like flavor that is not too classic, making it easy to drink. It is thick, but if you cool it down and drink it, it is surprisingly easy to drink. In any case, it is quite strong, so it would be good with Chinese dishes with strong flavors. It would be better with Chinese food that has a strong flavor, such as stewed eggplant, grilled fish, or simmered dishes, as the richness of the sake would drown it out. BATON TOUCH No.3 Sweet Summer and Japanese Hakka The refreshing aroma of citrus fruits, the gas from the second fermentation in the bottle is pleasant, and the bitterness and spiciness of the Japanese Hakka on the back end make it easy to drink 🍶😋😋😋. LIBROM x UNITEDARROWS x Hamadaya Sake Shop Smoothie Sour Sake Banana🍌🍌🍌 It's a craft saké called Smoothie Sour Sake, which is made by LIBROM's doburoku process with a large amount of domestic bananas. ☺️ The aroma and quality of the sake is similar to that of a plum liqueur, but the banana flavor comes through in the aftertaste. When mixed with the sedimentary layer, it turns into a thicker, thicker Doburoku.
