First time drinking this brand, we had it with my family 😁. Purchased at Yamasho in JR Ashiya station. I mentioned before that this liquor store is based in northern Kyoto and has a wide selection of sake from the Tango area, but they also have Kumi no Ura. It is rather sweet. Muscat and lychee-like flavor. It is fire-brewed but fresh. I'd like to try some of their fresh sake. I'm sure it would be delicious. This is one of the "unique local sakes" selected by a liquor store in Shirakawa, Fukushima. The name "Gomangoku" is similar to the name of sake rice, but it was named after the Miharu domain in Oshu, which was once known for its Gomangoku rice! Last week I visited Dewano-Fuji at Hankyu Department Store, but I went to Umemoto Sake-ten in Nishinakajima because I thought I could find more variety at a special distributor.
