The third drink at my favorite yakitori restaurant was Gizaemon Natsu-damon, which I had during a break in the drinking Shinsei. This is another summer sake from my favorite Mie sake that I was very curious about. The aroma is not so strong. It has an energetic taste with a tingling sensation when you put it in your mouth. It was a very tasty sake with a good balance of refreshing sweetness and bitterness ✨.

I'm opening another bottle today😍. My first Miyazaki sake. Everyone says Miyazaki is hard to get, so I popped in 🤣 I ordered it with Jidori Koko 👍. It's a bit sweet, but not too sweet. It has a modern umami taste, similar to a brand I've had before like Tsushima-ya 😋 It's quite refreshing and the sharpness disappears quickly 😋 It seems to be the only brewery in Miyazaki that specializes in sake 😋 It's delicious - thanks for making sake 😂.

Scoring: ☆☆☆☆ Miyazaki's only sake brewery specializing in sake, Chitoku Shuzo. It has a mild aroma with a good sweetness 😄. Refreshing drink with little lingering aftertaste. 😋 A lightly flavored umami type, or perhaps an 🏠. Not much umami or bitterness lingering on the tongue. Easy to drink but needs one more punch😅. After returning home, I wondered what to drink and chose "Karahashi" by Homare Shuzo, which I had never had a chance to drink before! It is a junmai ginjo made from Omachi. The first sip gives the impression of sweetness with no sourness. As you continue drinking, the spiciness comes out and the trinity of sweetness, umami, and spiciness comes together, which is just the right balance and delicious. There are other sake rice varieties in the Karahashi series besides Omachi, so you have to try them 😆.

This is the first time I drink it at home. I bought it from Kurumiya in Hachinohe because they only sell one bottle of sake in my neighborhood. I also bought two other kinds of sake that cannot be bought in Kansai. The packaging was very careful and excellent. The aroma is subtle, with hints of strawberries and berries. The refreshing sweetness and acidity are pleasant. The final taste is bitter. I have the impression that Miyamanishiki and other sake I have had in the past were sweeter.
