Slightly fizzy and fruity. Sweeter than expected. I like this a lot. Fruity, sweet and tasty, with a trace of bitterness. You can't go wrong with Nagurayama no matter what you drink. I think it might be my favorite among all the Nagurayama I've had so far. After 2 days, the gas is still there, but the bitterness seems to have increased.

When I go to this liquor store, I can't stop looking at different things. There are both hi-seasoned and draft Morishima's Omachi and Yamadanishiki, and there are several Nozomis... In the end, I narrowed it down to one bottle and chose this one. This is the first time I drink Koshinohomare at home. As for the rice, some stores say they use Takananishiki and others say Koshikagura, but which is it? Fresh, gassy and fruity. Juicy, like apple or pineapple. I was surprised at how delicious it was.

This Sake is bright and flavorful. There is a sweetness followed by the tartness of grapefruit. There is also a hint of banana. The acidity gives this a short and clean finish. Brilliant! 😁

Junmai-Ginjo sake with 50% polishing ratio This sake is brewed by blending Kyokai 1801 and the original ginjo yeast, Kyokai 901. It has a fruity, gorgeous aroma and a pleasant sweetness that spreads in the mouth. Delicious! The label is said to have been designed with a snowflake "Grandpa Sujimaki" of the famous mountain, Yoneyama, which announces the rice planting season in Kashiwazaki, on a label with a texture of textiles associated with the hemp and silk textiles that are famous in Echigo. Stylish!

At home. Fukuju after a long time. I visited Kobe Shu-shin-kan and bought this sake as it was recommended. Bright red bottle. The aroma is fruity and the taste is sweet and spicy on the palate. Although the alcohol content is 17%, it is a refreshingly tasty and easy-to-drink gem. It was a quintessential Fukuju. It was a warm day and we were able to visit the restaurant just as the cherry blossoms were falling.

At home. This is the third sake we were served at the sake tasting party. My first Nanbu Bijin. How can a sake from Iwate be called Nanbu? According to Wikipedia, it's because the location of the brewery was part of the Nanbu domain (Nanbu region) in the Edo period. My impression is that the alcohol is not strong, but the aroma is a bit characteristic. It's not fruity or grainy... I regret my lack of tasting ability and vocabulary. On the palate, the sweetness spreads, and the mouthfeel is smooth and the throat feels clear or light. It is a historical sake and I thought it would be heavier, but it was very easy to drink.

Whale wave is next. I thought it was your first time in Gifu Prefecture and you got one 😊. Freshly brewed with Miyamanishiki from Nagano Prefecture. I'm not sure what to make of it, but I'm sure it'll be good. The color is milky white. The smell is mild, with a hint of flowers. The taste is fruity, but not too sweet. It has a nice umami taste with a slight sourness and bitterness in the aftertaste. You can feel the alcohol quite a bit, it's 17 degrees, so it's thick. It is easy to drink on the rocks with ice. I think it tastes better if you drink it this way. It has a refreshing, dry, gassy flavor that pairs well with 🍖 meat dishes and Chinese and other oily dishes 😋~.
