This time we changed things up a bit and bought a bottle of Kuromatsu Kenrishi❣️, which we fell in love with at first sight because of the shape of the bottle and the coolness of the label. I had it lukewarm with my homemade oden🍢🙏. It's also good that you can heat up the whole bottle in a ding-dong! It has a bit of an alcoholic aroma, but I don't mind it too much. This is Asahi Kiku Arahashiri, a Fukuoka souvenir 🍶. It's in a nice looking bottle, but it seems that during the new sake season, Fukuoka's sake is often served in these stoppered bottles. I thought it was nice because it can be corked tightly so it is easy to reuse. The initial aroma is slightly sweet, like cooked rice. In the mouth, it has a mild sweet flavor with a slight astringency. It finishes with a slight bitterness. The astringency was a bit strong, but the sake was delicious with a calm and full flavor typical of Asahi Kiku ✨.
