I thought she might be able to drink cheaper with the family discount, but alas 😢. Since the last Ryuki was sweet, we wanted to try something a little dry, so we went looking for some Shizuoka sake 🤗. I don't have an image of Shizuoka sake as a modern sake, but I wonder if there is any 😅. Well, I took it out of the fridge and drank it cold 😃. Yes, it's refreshingly dry but surprisingly soft on the palate and easy to drink 😗. I thought this would definitely taste better lukewarm 🍶, so I warmed it up and the mouthfeel became softer and softer 🍶❣️ It is not a sake that has any special characteristics, but the price is reasonable, so it is worth buying 🤭.

Natsuta Fuyuzo works in the rice paddies in summer and in the warehouse in winter. This is my first time to try the KAME-NO-IO sake rice. 😃 It was very elegant, with a deep and delicate flavor. Plus, the mouthfeel is crisp and refreshing at the end of the drink 🙂 I paired it with grilled fish and it goes well😇. It's a lost one in my book 👍

Preference ★★★★☆ Amanoto's Natsuda Fuyukura was met on an expedition to Akita. I opened a bottle of Hoshiakari that I had purchased. It has a mild mouthfeel and a pleasant soft, full-bodied sweetness. I also like the way it disappears quickly, leaving a lingering aftertaste. When I drank Akita Sake Komachi, I naturally thought of Yuki-Onna (snow woman). The image of a pure white, cold, clear, dignified, and beautiful woman came to mind. Compared to that, I felt Hoshiakari had more warmth and depth.

Like Minatoya Toisuke, this is another brand of Murasuke that I bought because I liked it after tasting it at Ponshu-kan in Echigo Yuzawa. There are many liquor stores that sell Murasuke in Tokyo, but I had never seen this brand before. As its name suggests, it's low in alcohol content at 13%, so it's easy to drink 😚. When you drink it cold, it's light and refreshing, with no hint of bitterness. It's delicious in its own right, but when it's chilled at a cooler temperature, it becomes sweeter and more impressive. I liked it best when it was chilled in the wine cellar at about 15 degrees Celsius 😄. It's interesting to see how it changes with the temperature, but in any case, it's a different direction from the sweet and sour fruity Murasuke. I think it's a fine sake that won't go with any snacks 😋

Sasanogawa Junmai 58% 15%, 720ml, 1430 yen It is labeled Junmai but is 58% polished. The acidity is strong. This is what orthodox acidity is supposed to taste like. After the acidity comes an edgy dryness like a horse coming from behind. However, there seems to be some unique peculiarities, and depending on the day you drink it, it may bother you a little. Sasanokawa 35-year old sake, Junmai 60% 17%, 500ml, 5000 yen We went to a brewery in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture. It was a beautifully renovated and stylish space. There was a sign that said "Milan Sake Challenge", a double gold medal winner, which I don't know what it means. The sake was a dark color, almost black. It is rare to see such a color. Since I drank up the Shinkai Sanjo so quickly, I had another bottle of Shiga sake. This is a light nigori (nigori is a little bit thicker than the original) sake from Omi Tohei Sake Brewery in Higashiomi City. This sake is made by Masumoto Sake Brewery in Higashiomi City. You may not find this sake outside of Shiga. By the way, although not in Higashiomi, I stopped by my favorite museum, Lake Biwa Museum, so I'll introduce some of my lake friends with a few photos 💕. At the center is the red cheeked bite with a trademark. It is served cold. The color is a gentle light nigori. The top aroma is of blue melon and white peach with a gentle fragrance. The overall finish is dry with a strong alcohol attack, The sweet and sour aroma of blue melon and white peach mingles with the richness of milky rice, and the taste sublimates into a rich sweet and sour umami like dried fruit in the mouth. When heated, the sharp alcohol taste settles down, and the balance between the mild and mellow rice flavor and the enhanced bitterness and the thickened mouthfeel is indescribable. This feeling is 👍 in the middle. I imagine it is like a softer version of sakuten. I must drink Furozumi too!
