Here's the last GW drink we had It was a sake brewery I knew nothing about. This sake was sold as a summer draft sake by the Japan Meimon Shukai. It seems it was the first sake from this year to be released as a Meimon Sake Kai sake. Miyamanishiki from Akita Prefecture, Sake meter value +3, No. 9 yeast Citrusy aroma. The impression is that it is quite sweet and has a rich umami flavor, making it very drinkable. It is not a modern type of sake, but it is quite drinkable. A little acidic? The rice used is Gohyakumangoku and Nihonbare. If I had to describe it in one word, I would say it's "Omnivorous Japanese Sake Partridge". It has an old-fashioned flavor and an aged feeling like a hiyaoroshi. Spicy and sweet in equal measure, with a long finish. It's a sake that should be served warm. By the way, it's "Hiyaoroshi", but it's shipped all year round.

I learned of the existence of this sake through non non's post. It was a little difficult to go there because you can only buy it at the direct sales place which is open only on weekdays.... It was a nice homey sake brewery 😊. It was limited to 100 bottles and they were the last 3 bottles. It's shwashy, sweet and sour. It may be a daiginjo, but it doesn't taste like yamahai and is easy to drink.

Freshly brewed with Miyamanishiki from Nagano Prefecture. I'm not sure what to make of it, but I'm sure it'll be good. The color is milky white. The smell is mild, with a hint of flowers. The taste is fruity, but not too sweet. It has a nice umami taste with a slight sourness and bitterness in the aftertaste. You can feel the alcohol quite a bit, it's 17 degrees, so it's thick. It is easy to drink on the rocks with ice. I think it tastes better if you drink it this way. It has a refreshing, dry, gassy flavor that pairs well with 🍖 meat dishes and Chinese and other oily dishes 😋~.

The bottle was opened without any sign of carbonation. The whey-like smell is gorgeous. The taste is dry and rice-like. It finishes with a sense of rice and acidity. It is a taste you can find when you drink orikara-mi. The sweetness is added by mixing in the ori that has accumulated at the bottom, and it is just right. It is delicious. As you get used to drinking it, it becomes more familiar to your tongue and you can drink it in large gulps, and it is irresistibly good as you continue drinking it. It tastes even better after a year in the refrigerator, but I can't wait that long.

We found this restaurant in the vicinity of Nara Station - ‼️ We couldn't find a good time to drink at Toyoshuku, so we went to this restaurant and had a glass of Nara's local sake, Shirotoroku (‼️).
