This is the last Maikaze series for this year. It's been quite a while, but we'll be having "Mt. Haruna" for the last time! When the bottle is opened and poured, it has a relaxing sweet aroma. It has a peachy aroma. It also has a slightly banana-like flavor. The palate is smooth, as is typical of Gunma sake, with a slight sweetness that is typical of "Maifu" and a nice astringent taste that plays an active role in the background! The astringency also gives it a mineral taste, which I personally feel is similar to the "Tenpyo Junmai" that I drank before👍. In the latter half, the astringency becomes the main taste, which reminds me of grapefruit. It melts away at the end, so it goes down smoothly! I've enjoyed many Maikaze series this year, including "Akagisan"✨I'm looking forward to next year!

Kinmyo Junmai Sake 60% 15-16% 720ml Kinmyo by Negami Shuzo is my new favorite sake. The acidity is up from last year. The characteristic custardiness is almost gone, and a green apple-like fruitiness has been added instead. It also has a spiciness to it. It is a different taste from last year. At home. The second item of the sake tasting party. Wakayama Rashomon. I had the impression that it was a famous sake with a harsh name and a long history, so I thought it would have a strong alcoholic taste, but no matter what, it's very easy to drink. Purchased at the Shinsaibashi Takashimaya Department Store on the recommendation of a store clerk. Rice used is unknown. The richness of the original sake can be felt. It does not have much of a nama-zake character, and is clear and clean through the throat, making it a sake that you will never get tired of drinking. Because of its name, I had always assumed it was a sake from Kyoto. I️ was surprised to learn that it was the first Japanese sake to win the Monde Selection gold medal, and that Wakayama is proud of this world-class sake. My sincere apologies 🙏.

Another one this time. It is Takatsugawa by Fusozuru. It is from Shimane Prefecture. I saw Hiraccio-san drinking it and longed for it 🙌. First at room temperature. The color is a solid yellow. The aroma is mildly savory with a hint of maturity. It smells like caramel, soy sauce, and cream cheese. The mouthfeel is gentle. The palate is drowned in the complex flavor of aged rice with a moderate acidity. When heated up, it becomes smoother and more balanced, and you can just keep on drinking it. It has a relaxing and soothing taste. When tasted with a thick Shigaraki-ware sake cup, the warmth of the clay makes it taste even better. The warmth of the clay makes it even softer and happier 💕. Aizu girl and the Takatsu River I will relax my body and soul in the late winter. What a good evening drink 😊.
