profile iconJust out of curiosity...sour! Lemon juice! This guy is a Pokka Lemon! Including the bitterness. ...When you hold still, you can slowly taste the flavor and sweetness. It tastes like blue peaches. Interesting. Delicious. A very acidic and strange kind of lemon. If you are okay with Pokka Lemon, you might want to try this. According to one of our regular customers who is a sake researcher "San Q was just right when mixed with Mitsuya Cider." I would like to try it.

profile iconIt is unexpectedly light, almost like calpis. Perhaps because it was still cold, the unique bran smell of mai-bijin was subdued. It reminded me of Kawatsuru's Sanuki Kuraudei.

profile iconI purchased this wine after being told by a liquor store that it was one of their recommendations for food wine. He said it is especially recommended for fish dishes. It seems that it changes and tastes better when heated. The taste was rich with a strong rice flavor. It has a spicy aftertaste, which is what you would expect from a Japanese sake. It is a good sake for a mealtime drink and for those who like dry sake.

profile iconSlightly yellowish, with a fresh aroma after opening the bottle. The first sip is sweet, but the sourness spreads quickly. The alcohol taste is nicely hidden by the sourness, making it a refreshing drink! I think I'm going to get addicted to it.

profile iconOn the way home from the brewery festival, I decided to go have a few more drinks at my favorite restaurant. This was my second time at Hana Yuu. It has a fruity and juicy flavor unique to Misato Nishiki, and the freshness of the unpasteurized sake is great. It is still delicious.

profile iconThis is a delicious sake to taste (^^). The aroma, taste, and acidity all stand out well, with a pleasant sweet-sourness reminiscent of freshly made freshness and apples!

profile iconIt is soft and sweet on the palate, with a moderate acidity for a clean and delicious aftertaste.

profile iconVery sweet and sour, as it is made with a multi-acid yeast. The aroma is not so much. The sweetness is felt first and the sourness increases with time in the mouth. The sugar content is 13.2%, and if this were sake, it would be sweet there, but because of the strong acidity, it is not felt that much. It is like a sweet white wine with strong acidity. Only the sweetness and acidity stand out and my personal impression is not good.

profile iconAs the waiter said, it is just like a white wine. It has a good balance of acidity and sweet-sourness. I was used to Yamahai with a delicious mouthfeel, but this is just as good.

profile iconTonight, I would like to introduce a new sake from Terada Brewery, which I was intrigued by the collaboration with Pukupuku Brewery and wanted to try it. Gonin Musume Natural Sake, Namahashime, Junmai Sake, Strawberry Mead Barrel Aged 🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓. This sake is not mead, but it is a barrel-aged strawberry mead with Terada Honke's pure rice sake. It has a very soft aroma, but the taste is also exquisite with the acidity of the sake yeast and the sweet umami of honey strawberries, a very gentle taste that sinks into the body 😌😋😋😋😋😋 The aftertaste is a little like sake, but it is like drinking dessert wine or sweet western wine. Looks like it would be good alone after dinner😃.

profile iconKatori 90 Nama Hashiroshi 2021 Katori" is my favorite sake these days. I bought Katori 80 at an organic store in Sangenjaya and became addicted to it, so I bought Katori 90. 90 means polished, of course. It is also a "sake" with a slightly matured taste. It has a vinegar-like acidity and a mild fruity acidity, and has a refined flavor without the smell of aging. By reducing the amount of polished rice, it is said that protein and minerals remain in the rice, which is good for the body. I'm becoming more and more of a fan. Rating 4.4 (out of 5.0) 20230427

profile iconThe flavor of the rice is robust. Strong acidity and sweetness. There is also a hint of astringency. Not difficult to drink, but a complex sake with a deep flavor. I would like to try it heated in winter.
