It is very powerful and "explosive" as the name suggests. We recommend that you let it rest in the refrigerator for a while after purchase before consumption. It is an attractive nigori sake characterized by a thick mouthfeel and refreshing sweetness, with a crisp aftertaste that makes it a natural choice for sipping. Since the yeast is still alive and gas is always being produced, there is a hole on the top of the cap for venting gas. Care must be taken when opening the bottle, as it may leak when turned on its side.

A souvenir from a trip to Lake Biwa. Purchased at a local supermarket. It is full-bodied, but has a refreshingly sour and sweet taste. I drank it cold, but I heard it is also good heated. Characteristics: This sake is made using the Edo period (1603-1867) "tomizujikomi" brewing method, in which only a small amount of water is used to brew the sake, and is characterized by its dense yet refreshing and intense flavor. Origin of the name: The exclamation mark "! in Japanese is read as "Amedare," which refers to the miraculous harvest of sake rice and the surprise at the delicious taste produced by the tojumizu-jikomi brewing method.

I bought it while asking a lady at a local liquor store in my neighborhood that carries local sake. Is it a limited-quantity product? Fruity and aromatic. It has a dry aftertaste. The alcohol content is high (17%) because it is a pure sake.

It is fresh, probably because it is in a can. The alcohol content is high at 19 degrees, as is typical for a draft sake. I first drank it as is, but it was too strong, so I had it on the rocks as recommended. I quite like the taste.
