Sake served at a gathering of relatives in Nara. It is sweet and a little bit sour. My father, who drank it for the first time, was pleased with its taste.
Nigori sake from Gifu. It is creamy and rich, but more like rice. It has a strong rice flavor.
I haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure it would be refreshing with a soda.
This is a super dry version of Kizan, Ura-Kizan. The label is also turned inside out for fun.
It tastes clean and a little fruity.
I drank a lot yesterday, so I stopped here today.
The one I bought as a souvenir from Zao Snowboarding. It's only available in Yamagata Prefecture.
It is dry but has a sweet taste and a nice sharpness.
The fruity taste increased after drinking it a few days later. Delicious!
A souvenir from the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. The glass container is cool and looks good for drinking cold sake in summer.
The sake itself is firm, umami, and dry. It would be better warmed up.
Freshly pressed on February 3, 2023.
I bought it at a roadside station in Katsuyama because it seemed to be a limited edition.
I like it because it has a nice sharpness and a little bit of a sour taste. It has a lot of umami.
I was taken in by the limited edition, but it's delicious and I'm glad I got to try it.
Postscript 2/28
I think the taste mellows out and becomes easier to drink after some time.
It has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity.
It is good to drink with a glass of wine.
It seems to be a sake exclusively for mackerel. A unique blend of sake.
I had it at a restaurant specializing in mackerel on a trip to Okayama.
It is refreshing and certainly goes well with mackerel. Thank you very much.
Purchased on a business trip to Imabari.
It has a reasonably refreshing taste.
I don't particularly like the taste, but it seems to run out as soon as I start drinking it.
First at room temperature. The sweetness is refreshing. The aftertaste disappears like water. Easy to drink.
After that, I had it hot. I read that it is recommended to be heated, but I think I prefer it at room temperature.
Next time, I'll drink it cold.
The last time I drank it, I drank it straight all the time, but this time I tried different ways of drinking it the way it says on the label.

Maybe it's because it's winter, but the hot sake was quite tasty!
