The next one is the Hikoboshi bottle. Compared to Katsuyama style, it has a dry and robust taste. A bit hard 😅. I would rather drink it with boiled or grilled chicken than by itself. Even if brewed in the same way, the individuality of the brewer I was surprised that the brewer's individuality comes out even if brewed in the same way. It was delicious. It was delicious 😁. P.S. But still, it's a pain not being able to upload bang on my phone 😓. I think I pressed the right button, but the line breaks on its own, or I can't convert the line, and I feel like pouting. It's a hassle. Tomorrow's drinking session is a formal one with my business partners, so even if I ask them to close their eyes to the photos, I can't upload them on the spot because typing is against manners. 😅 If I can drink to the extent that I don't get delirious and upload it that day, that would be great (smiles). Good evening! 😄 It was a mild day today. I'm going on a business trip & drinking tomorrow, so I'll upload what I have accumulated first. 😁. DATE SEVEN Season 2 that I received. They are Katsuyama style and Suminoe style. I had the Katsuyama style first. It has a beautiful mouthfeel, with a sweet and sour flavor. It is well-balanced to my liking and can be drunk easily on its own. I finished half of it in no time (laugh). It was very tasty! 🙋

Good evening! 🙋 Today was sunny and it was beyond warm and hot in the car in Iwate Prefecture. This difference in temperature is a factor that can make you sick if you are not careful, so you have to adjust with what you wear well. Yesterday, I attended a celebration party for an acquaintance in Ofunato. I attended the party. It was a celebration for the fact that he received the Minister's Commendation, so there were various prominent people sitting in the audience. I was very happy to be there 😄. The toast was made with sake from the local brewery, Drunken Sake Brewery. After that, we had beer made with hops from Tono, and I was the only one who ordered sake (smiles). Although it was all-you-can-drink, the sake was Drunken's Special Junmai Namae. It was not dry, but had an honest and mild taste. It was easy to drink with food. Normally, I should be pouring beers around, but this time, I was talking with my friend who sat next to me and the party was over in no time! 😱 I'll be leaving early tomorrow, so I decided to pass on the after-party. 😅 Thanks for your time. P.S. The fourth photo is a turtle sitting at the entrance of Sakurayama Shrine in Morioka. I heard that if you rub it, it will prolong your life. 😁. The turtle tawashi had been renewed and was now a real turtle tawashi (lol).

Good evening! 😀 It was a beautiful sunny day today on the coast of Iwate Prefecture. I received a call from Kuroneko Yamato, so I picked up the dawn of Sakai at my doorstep. (LOL) They started the sake nouveau 20 years ago, shipping the freshly squeezed sake as it was at midnight yesterday. In 2016, it was renewed as Sakasai no Yoake. I think it was probably the year after that when I first learned about SAKASAI NO YAKE. I thought it was "beautiful water" when I drank it at the store, looked it up online and learned that it was born on Kurafan, and I immediately popped it in on the application day the following year (laughs). At that time, I remember that I was extremely impressed not by the clean water, but by the shuwa shuwa sweet and tasty type of water. To use an analogy, it was a little shuwa shuwa matured by the land of production. I was about to get into the sake swamp, so I was distributing it around for a while (laughs). One of our clients seems to buy it in bulk every year😅. This year, it seems to be more carbonated than last year. The sweetness was more mature, with a slight bitterness. The taste was nicely integrated. I distributed it to the members of my company and they were very happy with it. They were very pleased with it.

Another brand I drank at the end of August. Junmai Ginjo Autumn Leaves label from Shisora. It is a hiyaoroshi, or autumn-aged sake. I bought it for drinking at home for the first time in a while. When I took a sip, it was surprisingly strong. It had a strong sweetness to it, and perhaps because I had drunk four kinds of dry sake the day before at Shinmei, I felt it was a little heavy. I was a little bit heavy. 😅 After all, it seems that our sense of taste is changing with age 😱. My wife always checks me to make sure I don't drink continuously! but the food served to me makes me go into sake mode~! 😁😁 Then I get scolded, "I won't listen to that excuse! So I just drink about 1 gou and put it away in the fridge as soon as possible. 😅

Good evening! 😀 The weekend has come and gone in the blink of an eye. When Monday is a vacation, it feels like the rhythm of the week is not in order, something is not balanced 😅. What on earth is this? I was sorting through my photo data for a while and found that the one I drank at the end of August was not uploaded, so I'm posting it here after the fact! I'll post them 😁. The restaurant we went to was a sushi restaurant called "Shinmei" in Morioka. The owner and general manager here is a woman. However, it is a popular edo-mae sushi restaurant, so reservations are hard to come by. The sake we were served was Souhyo, a Tochigi Prefecture sake. It has a low alcohol content of 13 degrees, but it has a certain impact on the tongue and goes well with the strong flavors of the dish. I paired it with fried fish. It was delicious! 😀 P.S. I must have had a few other drinks, but I seem to have accidentally deleted the data. 😱 Too bad!

Next is MONSTAR from Akabu, which I drank yesterday and today. Polishing ratio 60%, alcohol content 16%. This bottle was shared with us by Gin-no-Sake Kibune. On the first day after opening the bottle, it had a slightly rich acidity and sweetness, with a sticky rather than a zippy taste that spread through the mouth, and a strength that is typical of 16% alcohol. My wife nailed me to the wall and said, "Don't drink it all at once! My wife warned me not to drink it all at once, so we drank it in 2 goules each. 😅 By the second day, the sweetness and sourness seemed somewhat subdued. The richness faded somewhat and it felt more drinkable. I heard there was heavy rain from western Japan to the Tokai region. What in the world is heavy rain in November? It is a three-day weekend. Good evening! 😀 It's November! 🎉 I am freaking out about the calendar saying November because it feels relatively warm. 😅 How fast the months go by! I've heard that the older you get, the faster it goes, but a year will end in this month and next month? I can't help but wonder what in the world I've been doing. 😅 Well, amongst all these things, something good happened at the end of last month, and I took the plunge and put out "Abe", even though my fridge is full of shuwa shuwa. I'm not quite sure where I bought it online, but I think I let it sit for 6 months. It is served in a small champagne glass. The bubbles are nicely carbonated. It has a low alcohol content of 13%, so it is soft on the palate and sweet and tasty in the mouth. My wife also praised the taste, saying, "It's very good! and raved about it! 👍 It is indeed "Abe"! 😁 It was very delicious! 🎉🎉🎉

Good evening! 😀 Today was a nice day in the northern coastal area of Iwate Prefecture. It dropped below freezing in the morning, but it feels warmer during the day when it rises to double digits. Interesting how people feel 😁. Well, I served Tsuchida this evening. I have been stocking up on too many of my personal favorite shwashuwas, and I don't have the confidence to finish a four-pack in one day or survive tomorrow's alcohol check, so I chose Tsuchida, a "room temperature" sake! So I chose Tsuchida. In fact, I found it on the shelf as usual. I also have another bottle of "Jyotemp Jyotemp Jyotemp" on the shelf (lol). When poured into the katakuchi, it is golden. Ah, this is a bad one. When you put it in your mouth, it has a unique, twisted, medicinal taste. I don't know how to put it, but it tastes like a diluted Yomeishu (a kind of sake). It's like a diluted yomeishu (a kind of sake). 😱. But this peculiar feeling is what makes Tsuchida so good. I like umami-sweet type and love schwashy type, but when I drank it recommended by President Murai of Kibune, I honestly thought "What the heck is this? but before I knew it, I had finished it. Sake really is a very deep drink. I think I will drink this one more slowly. P.S. It's still a hassle to type 500 words on a smartphone. I think it's great when I see young kids typing with both hands 😅.

Good evening! 😄 It was quite a warm day today. The high temperature was over 20 degrees Celsius, and the low on Monday was 2 degrees Celsius below zero, so it's going to be a big load on the body 😱. Well, I'd rather not go all the way to winter at once, so I welcome the warmth (lol)! Today's brand is Akabu's Sparring Galaxy. It's an awesome secondary fermentation in the bottle! 😁. I know it's a non-weekend day, but I was a bit happy to see it, so my wife and I opened it because it was an appropriate sake to toast together. As you know, this is a brand that requires careful attention to blow out, so I took my time and moved the bottle opener! 😁 The taste was nothing short of amazing! Sake really is amazing 😄! I wonder how they can make such a delicious sparring! I may have a light hangover tomorrow, but I'm happy 🙋. But still, I wonder why the bottle of Shinsei/Tenagara that I took out of the fridge to drink first was so hard to open. 😅

Yes, thank you for your help! 😁. For my 6th cup, I had Tobiroki. Ummm, I can feel the sweetness and flavor, but perhaps it has been sitting for a while and the bitterness stands out. I watched for a while, but it seemed like almost no one ordered sake 😓. I think that nosy old man should order a lot of sake since he can compare the different kinds of sake. I guess you have to be in a good restaurant to taste the sake with satisfactory taste 😅😅. But still, there are so many customers coming one after another, this must have been really hard during the Wuhan pneumonia. I was just thinking once again how they have really managed to come back so far by filling such a large floor with customers and having all the staff to keep the place running. 😀 But that doesn't mean that you can't drink good sake at a high quality level. An hour and a half into the restaurant. The gringo who was drinking alone at the counter has paid his bill and is gone. The counter is basically a couple. I'm alone, mooching and posting to the sake crocodile (lol). Anyway, I can only post this kind of thing when I am alone and not under the guidance of my wife, because the map function does not seem to recognize me unless I am near a restaurant. I don't need to eat and drink in a hurry, so I'm just going at my own pace. The fifth cup was Masumi from Nagano. I guess this is a brand that I sometimes have a connection with. Now, the fourth glass is a Junmai Ginjo from Kuroryu. For those who drink a lot, what? This small boar cup? but for me, this amount is OK (laugh). Since I became over 60 years old, I have started to be conscious of cutting back on the amount of sake I drink. It would be a shame if I couldn't drink it well, so I maintain the attitude of taking a little bit of good sake. At home, I can relax and drink, so I may drink a little too much, but it is very rare that I finish a four-pack. When we drink outside with a lot of people, we share the sake with everyone, so the total amount of sake we drink is about 2 to 3 gou. That's why I chose this place, where I found a picture of a sake drinking comparison on the Sake-no-Wa search engine. Junmai Ginjo from Kuroryu. Slightly sweet and tasty. Slightly acidic. A bit of bitterness at the bottom of the bottle. Hmmm, I wonder if not many people order sake for the many customers 😅. At 6:30, the restaurant was even more crowded. 😁.

The third cup was a brand called Aouda. Since it is from Fukuoka, it is a neighbor of Shichida. The taste is somewhat similar, but that does not mean that it is so because they are neighbors (laugh). It is smooth and sweet. It is smooth and deliciously sweet, with only a little bit of sourness. The bitterness is not particularly noticeable, even if you are conscious of it. Today, I went to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. I sometimes come here in the fall, but this time it was just too hot, and the people from the other continent walking along the road were noisy. The second glass was a daiginjo of Tedorigawa. Behind me, he is saying "Tedorigawa is gone! Was it at the bottom? Well, the taste of the water is clean and refreshing. It has no peculiarity at all and is perfect for sashimi. By the way, it was hot in Tokyo today. It was a little bit hot in the shade, but it was hard in the direct sun. Good evening! 😀 Today, I am here in Tokyo on a business trip. It's a business trip to celebrate & ask for your help. 😁. My wife is accompanying me, but I decided to have dinner alone because I have another matter to attend to. I went to an izakaya near the hotel, thinking that there would be no place where I could have a quiet drink because there were so many foreigners. The convenient thing about sake-no-wa is that you can see who is drinking and eating at what kind of restaurant, so I decided to go here where I found a picture of a sake drinking contest when I did a search. Japanese food, sake, Enn. Well, it is an izakaya with the feel of a chain restaurant. I couldn't order much to eat and drink by myself, but I decided to have a sake comparison and drink slowly anyway. As I wrote before, I would never be able to report on the food and drink if my wife was next to me. 😅 First up was Shichida Junmai. This is a Saga sake that is a standard item at the Fukuroiya Brewery in Morioka. Take a sip. It has a slight sweetness. As the robust flavor heads toward the back of the throat, acidity and bitterness follow. We served it with tuna sashimi. It was delicious.

Next, the Nirugame (Nirugame) 2021 by Shinsei. Today, we went to the ride park to play with our eldest son and his wife & two grandchildren. This is the same place where we brought our children a quarter of a century ago, and it still seems to be a strong favorite. 😁 I thought it must be hard to maintain the small steam locomotive that you pedal a bicycle on, or the one that you pedal a swan shape on a slightly high rail...but I just kept taking videos with my phone (lol). The one that was hell was a slide with rollers, my butt hurt so bad 😭! 😭 My grandson suddenly started to climb up the stairs, so I hurriedly followed him and he started to slide ahead of me. 😱. I had no choice but to follow behind him and it was like I was being tortured (T_T). I thought, "I'll never ski again! I thought, "I'll never slip again! So, I took out the Nirvana tortoise that had been sleeping in the back of the fridge. So I took out a bottle of Nirvana tortoise that had been lying in the back of the refrigerator! Oh, it has the acidity that is typical of Shinsei. It is sweet and tasty, but the bitterness hidden in the back accents the taste and makes it even more delicious. I am chewing on my happiness while watching the video I took all over the place. I am so happy 😁. It was very tasty!

Good evening! 😀 How did you spend the three-day weekend from the 12th to today? Iwate Prefecture was blessed with good weather all the way! 👍 On Saturday, I went to a lecture by Yoshiko Sakurai in Hanamaki City. It is not often that a celebrity comes to Iwate Prefecture, so I received a numbered ticket from a business partner, and when I entered the venue before the show started, I was surprised to see quite a few people already lined up. He explained complicated current affairs in an easy-to-understand manner, and the hour and a half went by very quickly. 😄 Now, I have to replenish my sugar because I exercised my brain, which I usually don't use! 😁😁 So, I will have some Akabu no Amber that Kibune-san shared with me! 👍 The last time I drank it, I was blown away by its rich flavor, so much so that I thought it was a passion fruit cocktail 🍹. But this time, it was more mature compared to the last time. What? I didn't know it was like this? 😅 I drink it while thinking. Probably because I've been drinking wine and sake every day and my ability to discern taste is most likely impaired. 😓. Should I drink more while taking a break? Well, that's not a word I'd use with my wife and I almost empty 😅...

I drank Mutsu Hachisen, which I uploaded earlier, some time ago. Tonight, we drank in real time the Rice and Agave "Rice and Japanese Tea". Just 500 ml, easy to empty a bottle. I bought it at Kibune-san, and I am very happy to find such a good sake on the regular. I took a sip. I don't feel the tea flavor this time that I felt before. Lately, I feel that as I get older, I am losing the ability to distinguish between fine flavors. If anything, the sweetness and subtle astringency of grapes just barely ripe enough to be tasted is a bit overwhelming. When poured into a sake cup, it is carbonated with a sizzling sensation. It has a wonderful mouthfeel. The bottom part has a bit of ooze and an even richer grape flavor. But the just-about-to-be-ripe feeling is still there. We enjoyed the delicious sensation until the very end. 🎉 However, how can rice and koji make such a delicious taste? I think again. And moreover, I wonder how it can be so deliciously sweet when mixed with Japanese tea. I am thankful that I was able to spend another good day with a happy feeling. It was very delicious! 👍

Good evening! 😀 It was said that the heat and the cold last until the equinoctial week, but it seems to be always hot in western Japan, although it is as the calendar says in Tohoku 😱. Still, chestnuts 🌰 have been harvested and matsutake mushrooms 🍄‍🟫 have started to appear at roadside stations, though later than usual. 👍 Last year, I thought it would be impossible to get matsutake mushrooms because of the summer heat, so I asked a lot of people for them and managed to get enough to give to my clients and others, but later they were overflowing and not worth the price, which reminded me how difficult nature is. 😅 Well, the other day I uploaded this from Unme no Su at Morioka Eki-naka, but my wife doesn't like to play with her phone while eating, so it was still difficult for me to post while calmly thinking about my text. 😓 I want to fill in the 500 characters, but then I can't write in a few minutes, so it's a bit of a slapstick.
