Last up today is Daiginjo Higan by Taiyo Shuzo in Murakami City, Niigata Prefecture! This was a gift from an acquaintance of my wife. The other person's comment was that the water was of the highest quality. When I opened the package, the smell of alcohol came up. Oh, it's a little different, isn't it? I thought, and took a sip. Well, it is indeed a fine water. It may not interfere with the ingredients, but it has no characteristics, so in a word, it is a bit disappointing. Is it the characteristics of the rice, Takananishiki, or is it the brewing alcohol in the blend? There was also a pamphlet with the toji's thoughts, but it wasn't my favorite. 😅 Oh well, it is what it is. See you then! 🙋

Next is sake, the same meat but drunk with yakitori. The usual "Tomifuku". It was fairly crowded there, but the counter in the back was empty, so we sat there. I had plans for the next day at Tomifuku, so I had just one drink again. I was not familiar with Gifu's sake, so I ordered this brand called Hyakushun. The label said the alcohol content was 17.5 degrees! A little too strong? I was served with a mixture of a little left at the bottom and a mouthful, but I didn't complain and drank it. Oh, surprisingly, it is not peculiar, and a slightly sweet and gorgeous flavor spreads in the mouth. I don't mind the high alcohol content. The flavor and sweetness is as good as that of yakitori sauce. Very tasty! 🙋

Good evening! 🙋 April is here. Major institutions such as government offices are starting the new fiscal year from here, so from yesterday to today, there were news reports about the initiation ceremony and so on. A few days ago, a new yakiniku restaurant opened near the hotel where I stayed. I couldn't tell what it was from the outside because it was written "Niku Tada" (肉唯), but when I searched for it, it seemed to be a highly rated restaurant, so I went in. Meat only = not free, but I thought it would be reasonably cheap, but it wasn't. 😅 However, the owner had a funny sense of distance from me, and when I asked for the Harami, he said "Ours is from America and a little tough, so I recommend this one today!" I ordered that one and it was indeed delicious. （I ordered that one and it was indeed delicious.) They also had sake on tap, so I ordered Katano Sakura. Why do you have sake from Kansai? I asked them why they had Kansai sake, and they told me that they bought it from Sakamoto Sake Shop in Morioka City. I took a sip. Ah, it was dry. It is a sake for a barbecue restaurant, so I guess it must be a strong type of sake. The flavor is as good as the fat and sauce of the meat, and it goes down easily. Considering my business the next day, this is all I had this time. It was delicious.

At the Sea Gohan Shimakana. Finally, a special junmai Kame-no-o from Toriyoemon. 60% polished rice. I was already quite drunk and drank without knowing what Kame-no-o was like! 😁. No, really, meeting for the first time in a long time is three times better than meeting for the first time in a long time because of the conversation! 👍 As expected, my partner had to play golf the next day, so we cut it off at 2:30, but let's have another drink! So we parted with a lot of excitement, including the search for the next restaurant. The fourth photo is a candy called "Oseiame" from a confectionery shop called Nagasawaya in Shinmei-cho, Morioka City. It was a gift from my partner. When I typed in "Ouseiame," it was converted correctly, so it seems to be a quite famous confectionery. So I ate it and was surprised to find that it was not sweet! It is the image of Okayama's millet dumplings, which are not sweet. A Google search for the store revealed that it was a small store that probably only sells these sweets. But the taste is good enough to make a business out of it. Thanks for the treat! Thank you 🙋

No, the food is delicious and the choice of drinks is great! 😁 In no time at all, the contents of one mouthful were gone! Very delicious! 🎉

I'll take it from the right right away! 👍 This special junmai sake is made with Miyamanishiki from Iwate prefecture and polished to 55%. The first sip will fill your mouth from the acidity typical of Miyamanishiki. 🎉 After that, it becomes soft, sweet and delicious. Mmmm, delicious! Tomorrow is my farewell golf game..." and the other party sipped on their sake cups. It was very delicious! Thank you so much 🎉

Good evening! I'm back 🙋 . I hope you are all doing well, although the weather is changing rapidly every day, with snow falling in a blizzard, and yellow dust flying in with warmer weather. As the end of the fiscal year is approaching, farewell parties are being held in various places, and I had a dinner party the other day with a couple who are also my business partners and friends. 😄😄 The restaurant is called "Umigohan Shimaka. I have been interested in this restaurant for a long time, but I have never had a chance to meet them. 👍 The restaurant is surprisingly deep, and the second floor can accommodate large parties, so it was quite crowded. The owner of the restaurant is good friends with everyone in Akabu! So after a toast of beer🍻, we started with a Junmai Ginjo from Akabu. As usual, it is slightly sweet and has a wonderful, gorgeous mouthfeel. The owner enthusiastically told us that Junmai Ginjo is the most recommended by the members of Akabu. The sashimi platter was also gorgeous and very tasty! 🎉

The last one is Higashitsuru Winter Preparation Origara-mi Nama. No, really, the Higashitsuru series are all delicious. When you open the bottle and pour it into a glass, it has a wonderful shwash! 😁. The beauty of sweetness spreading in the mouth. I can well understand why the owner of Yokouchi Sake Shop strongly recommends it! 🙋 I drank this after a 2 day interval with Kame no Kai, and I was so close to drinking this one that my wife found it and took it away from me. 😅 It was very tasty! 🎉 So, I got over the side effects of shingles in one day. It's just 3:30 am, probably because I slept too much and had a sleep over. I'm going to try to sleep one more time. Good night. 🙋

Next is Kame no Kai Junmai Ginjo Yellow Label, a well-known sweet and tasty type. It was purchased at Yokouchi Sake Shop along with Kawa-nakajima Genmai. As I said, this one is more to my taste. Not only is it simply sweet, but its umami and lingering flavor is one of those brands that evoke a sense of happiness from the bottom of your heart. 👍 It has no miscellaneous taste and can be drunk smoothly, so I lost 3 gou of it in no time! 😁 And when I drank the rest the next day, the taste changed and it became a bit bitter, or miscellaneous, or what? I should have opened it quickly. 😅 It was very tasty! 🙋

Good evening! 🙋 It is now 2:50 am. What are you doing here at this time of night? I know you might say, but I laid down at 10:30 and popped about 2 hours ago! I woke up and couldn't sleep for a long time, so I gave up and got up. 😅 I was watching the Dodgers vs Cubs, as Akinori Sasaki, who is from Iwate, was starting. It's good to get into the mood, but I felt like I was a parent and cheered too much, "Go for it! I think it was because I was cheering for him too much. I think it's probably because of the earthquake that he's trying to get ahead as fast as he can, and he was said a lot of things when he left Lotte, and he has that "timid and troubled face", so I feel like I'm his parent (temporarily) and want to support him. 😅 Thanks to that, I've been drinking since this hour (lol). So, I uploaded the one I opened a week before having a drink with my eldest son and his wife. The first bottle was a bottle of Kawanakajima Genmai ginjo-namaishu. It is sold exclusively at Yokouchi Sake Shop. We had it, but it didn't feel right. I warmed it up to see if it was a warmed sake instead of a cold one, but it just tasted a little sweet, but that was normal. I regret that I raised my expectations too high. 😓 Personally, it was not a good match for me. 🙏.

And finally, Spring Sun in East Tsuru. I purchased some from Yokouchi Sake Shop online again this year. I always wonder how it is made from rice and why it tastes so much like juice. No, it really tastes good! 🎉 Especially my eldest daughter-in-law is a big fan of the really refreshing yet bountiful taste, which is different from So-no-Kangiku! 🎉 And what a surprise! Her sister's boyfriend is from Saga, which was also a factor in the excitement, and we returned to the hotel delirious after opening three bottles 😅. Well, I'm going to take my pills and go to bed! 🙋

Next up was Sansho 2023 Yamadanishiki. This is another sparkling sake that can be opened with a number of people. I brought this one well chilled because I wanted my oldest son and his wife to drink it! 😁. Beautiful bubbles and a mild mouthfeel. The eldest son and his wife were very impressed with the taste that they wanted to drink it forever! I am happy to be able to please them as it is a brand that is not easily available. It was very delicious! 👍

Hi, I'm a new member and I'm looking for a new job! I'm sorry to bother you 🙋 I know I'm uploading this at this hour, but I actually got vaccinated for shingles yesterday. This is the second time I've had it, but the last time I had it, the place where I got the shot was painful and I was feeling tired and clunky. This time, there was no pain, but I had a headache at night, then a fever, so I took some bufferin in the morning and went to bed. 😅 I was prepared for the side reactions, but it was a bit painful and different from the Modelina vaccine. 😱 I realized it was now time to get up, eat a light meal, take some more pills and go back to bed. 😅 So before I go, I'm going to upload what I drank last week at a dinner party with my oldest son and his wife and my grandchildren. The first bottle was a bottle of Akabu Snow. Lightly cloudy, slightly sweet, lightly acidic and easy to drink. The slight carbonation also spreads in the mouth and is delicious! Since we brought it well chilled, the seal did not fly off, and we poured it out into everyone's glasses. It was very tasty. 😁

And last but not least, Kiku no Tsukasa Innocent 40 Junmai Daiginjyo Nama Genjo-shu. Personally, this was the most delicious! 🎉 With a hint of ginjo aroma, the Innocent was poured into a wine glass and slowly sent into the mouth. The sweetness and fullness that you feel even after drinking various kinds of wine. It reminds me of the shock I felt when I first drank the representative brand of Kiku no Tsukasa, Shichifukujin. It is one of the brands that I can say with all my heart, "This is delicious! It is one of the brands that I can say "Delicious from the bottom of my heart! After a lot of things happened, I moved from Morioka to Shizukuishi Town with the support of my sponsor in order to install state-of-the-art facilities, and made a fresh start. It must not have been easy, but I am very grateful that they are making delicious sake again. And here is the 800 check-in. Thank you for a good event and for being a part of the Kiri number! 🎉

Next was Kiku no Tsukasa Junmai Daiginjo Yuzunokou, which was apparently a secret. It was not among the brands, but a sales person recommended it to me, so I had it! I had it because a sales person recommended it to me! I was so happy 😁. Yeah, surprisingly impactful and somewhat rich mouthfeel. When paired with tempura 🍤, it was delicious with a spreading flavor! Well, I am getting into the Iwate sake swamp with a bang! (Laughs)

Next is Hachimantai Gekka Ginga from Washinoo. This sake won the gold medal at the National New Sake Competition in 2022! 🎉 The ginjo aroma is gorgeous. The mouthfeel is a bit sweet, but the moderate acidity is nicely balanced, and my wife kept saying "delicious"! 😁😁 I can't say how good or bad the bottle design is because it is a matter of taste, but I wonder if it could be more aggressive. I thought it would be good to have it more aggressive. 😅 It was delicious! 👍

Next, Kikunoshi Shinboshi Junmai Ginjo Ginginotome. It has a clean taste with a rice polishing ratio of 50%. The aroma has a faint ginjo aroma. A glass was served instead of an oinokuchi. 😁 Smooth on the tongue with a delicious taste that goes in swishy. 👍

Next is Nanbu Bijin's special junmai sake. The red label is very conspicuous. 😁 This is a 55% polished Ginotome. The ginjo aroma is soft and gentle. The taste is also soft and sweet-ish. The impact is mild, but it can be matched with any foodstuff! I think it is a good match for all kinds of food. I think so 😄. The person sitting next to me was the financial manager of Nanbu Bijin, and he stood in front of me and explained about the products. 👍 I really appreciated being able to taste a little bit of different sake! 🥰 Refills are free, so I would like to drink some more, but I will settle down as I still have a long way to go! (LOL)

Good evening! 🙋 It's the middle of March and the sun is setting slower and slower. Personally, I am very happy to feel that the day is getting longer. 😄 Now, continuing with the "Stories Born of Sake Rice" that took place the other day at Metropolitan Morioka's Tsai-Itsuru. The third sake was Hamachidori Junmai Namaisake (Junmai Nama Storage Sake). This junmai is made by cutting 55% of the Ginga Ginga. It is a little sweet, but it goes in very nicely. When it comes out in a small bottle, it looks like some kind of all-you-can-drink sake. But it has a nice, clean taste. We enjoyed it with a variety of appetizers. 👍

The event was held at Tsushima Tsuru in the Metropolitan Morioka New Wing. A party to drink a variety of sake brewed with sake rice produced by Mr. Sunakabe 😁. Next up was Washinoo Unfiltered Nama Sake. This is an unfiltered, raw sake made by grinding Ginga down to 50%. It seems to be a seasonal product, and my wife thought it was delicious. The label seemed to suggest that it was a solid junmai-type sake. It had a slightly rich, sweet flavor. It has a sweet, slightly rich flavor, but that doesn't mean it is harsh. By the way, the fourth picture is of Mr. Sunakabe.
