Hiya. It has a strong alcoholic aroma.
The taste is strong and mild. Strong.

Morioka Ekinaka's Unmenosu.
The third cup in the drinking comparison was a junmai ginjo from Toruyoemon, a famous Iwate sake.
It had a beautiful acidity and was well chilled, so I drank it quickly! 😱

I realized it was already time to catch the Shinkansen.
I had no choice but to get up from my seat.
It was still early summer in Tokyo at that time, so I could manage to walk outside, but it's definitely not possible now!
It's hard enough in Iwate with temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius, but I can't go west of Tokyo with temperatures over 35 degrees Celsius every day because of my cold-weather specs!
And even in this summer-like weather, we will soon be able to harvest the taste of autumn!
Last year, we had a bumper crop of matsutake mushrooms despite the heat wave.
I have high expectations for this year as well! 🎉

No photo due to tasting at a liquor store.
I only drank it chilled, but it was fruity and slightly gassy. It is a bit young and has a strong bitterness at the end. Easy to drink and tasty, but not enough. Not really suitable for warming up. It would go well with white meat sashimi and other crispy food. It's like a sake from the north.

Kinshicho Lunchtime Drinking Again (2)
Before ordering the next bottle, I looked back at my post on Sake-no-wa to see what I had ordered on my previous visit 🤔 and found it was Fuyu-wata from Wataya 🤗I found a different seasonal Haru-wata on the menu this time, so I ordered that one for the second bottle!
It had a cute label and was a delicious sake with a soft sweetness and gentle acidity 😋The food at this restaurant goes well with sake, so I'll drink it right away😅.
The third bottle was a gut instinct choice because Nobby likes Miyamanishiki! This is "Yoemon" which is our first sake series. ‼️
For us, the name "Yoemon" might sound more familiar than "Doraemon" 😆.
It looks dry, but is it slightly sweet? It looks dry, but it is slightly sweet, and then the sourness comes in afterwards 😚.
But you know, since we are drinking outside in a quiet space, we will savor it much more slowly than usual 😉 while acting out the atmosphere of an elegant couple having a lunchtime drink 😌. ☺️
By the way, this restaurant opens at 1pm, but we arrived at Kinshicho station after 12pm because we were feeling ahead 😆 We went to IMADEYA to see art for a while to kill time 🖼️ and got Okuroku which we were interested in 👍.

Finally, a special junmai Kame-no-o from Toriyoemon.
60% polished rice.
I was already quite drunk and drank without knowing what Kame-no-o was like! 😁.

As expected, my partner had to play golf the next day, so we cut it off at 2:30, but let's have another drink! So we parted with a lot of excitement, including the search for the next restaurant.
The fourth photo is a candy called "Oseiame" from a confectionery shop called Nagasawaya in Shinmei-cho, Morioka City.
It was a gift from my partner.
When I typed in "Ouseiame," it was converted correctly, so it seems to be a quite famous confectionery.
So I ate it and was surprised to find that it was not sweet! It is the image of Okayama's millet dumplings, which are not sweet.
A Google search for the store revealed that it was a small store that probably only sells these sweets.
But the taste is good enough to make a business out of it.

Weak grapefruit type aroma and acidity. It has a strong sake quality, yet it has a light and refreshing taste, which is very strange. The umami is not strong when you drink it, but it leaves a strange aftertaste that lingers for a while. It is a unique sake that is beyond my imagination.

Hiyoroshi, as expected, has a calm taste. It's similar in direction to the special junmai nama sake, but this one has a more gentle taste 😌.
Sanriku pike with autumn eggplant pesto 😋The fatty, huge pike is dried to remove excess water. The skin is cooked properly and the flesh is rare. I'll be back soon!
