I only drank it chilled, but it was fruity and slightly gassy. It is a bit young and has a strong bitterness at the end. Easy to drink and tasty, but not enough. Not really suitable for warming up. It would go well with white meat sashimi and other crispy food. It's like a sake from the north.
Kinshicho Lunchtime Drinking Again (2)
Before ordering the next bottle, I looked back at my post on Sake-no-wa to see what I had ordered on my previous visit 🤔 and found it was Fuyu-wata from Wataya 🤗I found a different seasonal Haru-wata on the menu this time, so I ordered that one for the second bottle!
It had a cute label and was a delicious sake with a soft sweetness and gentle acidity 😋The food at this restaurant goes well with sake, so I'll drink it right away😅.
The third bottle was a gut instinct choice because Nobby likes Miyamanishiki! This is "Yoemon" which is our first sake series. ‼️
For us, the name "Yoemon" might sound more familiar than "Doraemon" 😆.
It looks dry, but is it slightly sweet? It looks dry, but it is slightly sweet, and then the sourness comes in afterwards 😚.
But you know, since we are drinking outside in a quiet space, we will savor it much more slowly than usual 😉 while acting out the atmosphere of an elegant couple having a lunchtime drink 😌. ☺️
By the way, this restaurant opens at 1pm, but we arrived at Kinshicho station after 12pm because we were feeling ahead 😆 We went to IMADEYA to see art for a while to kill time 🖼️ and got Okuroku which we were interested in 👍.

Weak grapefruit type aroma and acidity. It has a strong sake quality, yet it has a light and refreshing taste, which is very strange. The umami is not strong when you drink it, but it leaves a strange aftertaste that lingers for a while. It is a unique sake that is beyond my imagination.

Hiyoroshi, as expected, has a calm taste. It's similar in direction to the special junmai nama sake, but this one has a more gentle taste 😌.
Sanriku pike with autumn eggplant pesto 😋The fatty, huge pike is dried to remove excess water. The skin is cooked properly and the flesh is rare. I'll be back soon!

The first night of the trip was spent at the famous Italian restaurant Badalone in Hanamaki 🍽️ A banner in front of Hanamaki station celebrating Otani's 50-50 achievement 😆.
Fresh✨Sweet and sour. A little grassy but with a darker fruitiness. Gentle but strong and rich with a rice feel. I had a sweetfish from Toyosawa river, between confit and fried, with a salty taste.

I think this is new sake brewed with Ginga.
This was delicious.
I wonder if it was directly pumped, there was some gas, and the fresh taste was very nice.
Surprisingly, as the temperature rises, it has a more subdued depth, which is enjoyable.
I wish they would do something about the fact that I can't convert kanji characters.
