Limited winter sake. Originally, Kasumitsuru is my favorite sake. It is also great as an everyday food sake. It has a sharp and crisp taste made with Hyogo Kitanishiki rice. The label says it is fragrant, but I didn't find the aroma to be that strong. I thought it was easy to drink despite the high alcohol content of the unpasteurized sake, but it might be a little hard for people who are not used to drinking sake. At any rate, it's the best sake I've had in Japan in a long time!

I was looking through some old photos and stumbled upon this one! It was given to me on stage by Iinuma Honke after I won a prize out of over 200 people at an event where sake breweries from all over Japan gathered together. It was an event when Corona wasn't even a name. I miss those days. I remember the taste was crisp, refreshing and dry. Now I want to buy and drink it by myself.

So thrilled to be able to buy the crop in Europe! It has a gorgeous aroma and sweet taste at the beginning of the drink, but after that, the aroma in the nose is clean and easy to drink. The price is about twice as much as in Japan, but it's not enough to drink only wine. I'm going to drink sake when I go back to Japan!

I was able to increase my sake repertoire in Germany! Sake drunk on an open terrace is the best. It's fruity and refreshing, but the aroma is subdued. The sake is clean and fruity, but the aroma is subdued, and the sharpness is so good that I finished it in no time.

The following is a quote from the website: ＝＝＝＝＝ Junmai Daiginjo "Judo" won the gold medal in the Junmai Daiginjo category at Kura Master 2020, a sake judging event held in France on September 10, 2020. Junmai Daiginjo "Judo" was released in 2018 as an export-only product as a casual line of Nada Kiku Shuzo's best Daiginjo, "Shuzo no Susuke" (Mikinosuke). It was created as a new series to commemorate the achievements of Kawaishi Shuzonosuke, the founder's younger brother and the first person to spread judo in France, who is known as the "father of French judo." We started brewing "Judo" with the idea of "letting people know about Sakuzonosuke's achievements" and "introducing Harima-made sake to the world. The ingredients are carefully selected from "Hyogo Yume Nishiki" produced in Harima, the birthplace of Shuzonosuke. In order to maximize the appeal of Hyogo Yume Nishiki, the rice is polished to a low 50%, which is rare for a junmai daiginjo, and the aim is to create a sake with a good balance of acidity and sweetness.

I got the spring only sake! It's so sudsy that you have to be careful opening the bottle. It wasn't like a Nabeshima with a rich aroma and flavor, but rather a sake with a clean taste and a complex flavor. It has a beautiful acidity and a great sharpness. This is the kind of sake you want to drink with everyone as a toast at hanami. Hurry up and get your Corona!

The day after I emptied two bottles of Kouei Kiku, I bought this Funaguchi Kikusui at a convenience store! You really shouldn't evaluate sake by price or brewery name alone. I think this sake is now a legend. It's a wonderful sake that has the freshness of nama-shu with the deep flavor of umeguchi. By the way, though, the same Kiku's Kou Kiku was really good too!

Agreed. I believe it was preceded by Ichiban Shibori. It was the pioneer of undiluted sake. It's so close to home that we tend to forget its value. As you say, it is a legend❗️.

Kouryugiku second stage! There is a tingling sensation when you open the bottle, but the taste is clean and the aroma of melon spreads in your mouth. The aftertaste is short and crisp, and you can keep drinking it for a long time, this is a really bad sake lol! Even though it's a nama-shu, it was recommended to me that it also tastes great warmed, so I'll be enjoying it warmed tomorrow!

I finally got it! It was sent to me by a local liquor store friend of mine. It's as good as its reputation. It tasted like carbonated melon juice. The swooshing and tingling sensation is amazing. I'd like to drink it to toast right after opening the bottle. As recommended by the brewer, I kept the other half of the bottle at room temperature for a week and chilled it a bit before drinking. Then the tingling disappeared and only the deliciousness remained, and I could enjoy the deep flavor! I highly recommend this sake!

I thought it was sweet on the palate, but it quickly fills the mouth with a fresh, clean flavor. The aroma is moderate. It has a tingling sensation and is not overpowered by darker ate. It does not interfere with meals. It is a sake with good cost performance.

This is an unusual sake that was made with Narano Yaesakura yeast. The alcohol content is low at 14 degrees, and the taste is quite unique. If you think the aroma is subdued, you'd be wrong! The fruity apple aroma that spreads in your mouth is quite strong. There is also a lingering aroma, but it is not unpleasant. You may not like it, but I found it delicious!

Is there such a thing as good sake? It's so good! I was surprised. Right after the opening, it has a refreshing standing aroma. As soon as you put it in your mouth, the firm umami spreads in your mouth, and at the same time, the beautiful acidity is really pleasant. In the second half, you can enjoy the complex taste with the acid. This was definitely one of my top 3 sakes! I am grateful for this encounter.

It's our first Kagoshima sake ! We thought it was the image of the potato shochu liqueur, but we think it is easy to drink. We can hardly feel the aroma, but when we take it in our mouth, the taste of the rice spreads. It's not a sticky sweetness, but a clean and refreshing taste. The acidity can be felt a little in the latter half. It can be enjoyed both before and during meals.
