During a family trip to Aizu, I bought this Okunomatsu at a hotel store. Although I am from Aizu, I had never heard of this brand, but it is not from the Aizu region, but from Nihonmatsu City in the Nakadori region.
The taste is a refreshing honjozo, which is often found in local sake cups. It is a delicious, easy-to-drink sake. The label is unique. The red cow with its bottom sticking out! How cute!
Purchased at supermarket.
I found it a little bitter without fruity taste.
I heard there is a sparkling version, so I will add some carbonation and give it a try.
Okunomatsu Shuzo Co. repeats Okunomatsu, Junmai Daiginjo Sparkling
Not that there was anything special about it, but bubbles.
It's sold at the Seiyu in the back anyway.
It doesn't have the cap-blowing intensity of Champagne or Cava, but it has a delicate and long-lasting carbonation, which is the result of the second fermentation in the bottle.
