The sake has a robust and umami flavor without a freshness. I am concerned about the sticky aftertaste that lingers on the palate. Of course, you like it.
New Sake Shiboritate Nama. Made with polished rice produced in Saga Prefecture.
It is quite sweet because it is a honjozo and a nama-shu.
I think there are different tastes, but I like it.
I can't drink a lot of it, but how about drinking it as an after-dinner dessert sake like port wine?
The best sake I have tasted in Japan in a long time. Saga's Koei Kiku. It is a new sake brewery, but I feel that they have a great ability to produce such a series of delicious sake.
The aroma, the umami, the sharpness of the acidity are all great! I love Saga sake.
Special pure rice made from 100% rice kura-no-hana. You can taste the fragrant aroma of the rice even at room temperature. It is even better when heated! This is one of my favorite sakes that can be purchased overseas.
Ganki was my favorite sake when I was in Japan. Happy to drink here again! Thank you, Fatty! Despite the mild aroma, you can enjoy the fruity taste at the first sip. You may think it is sweet for a moment, but the aftertaste is so clean that it can be used as a food wine!
It was a unique sake that I had never had before. Maybe the taste has changed since I crossed the equator, but it was a little difficult for me to taste. However, this sake was introduced to me by the owner of a restaurant that serves excellent sake, so I think it is definitely a delicious sake that professionals would like! I will study a little more.
It is soft and dry. It is not sharp, but rather gentle. The aroma is subdued. It has a beautiful aftertaste. I've been drinking a lot of wine lately, but sake is for the Japanese!
Sake festival today! lol
I'm opening bottles all over the place only at home lol.
This sake is a blend of three different types of rice. A professional blender (toji?) has created an exquisite taste. It has a little bit of sweetness from being unfiltered, but it's delicious. It's pretty hard to beat. The label is also quite blaming.
I think it's a sake that women will like (^O^)
This is a drink that I found myself loving. It is the best sake to drink every day. It is the sake which I drank first when I came back to Japan temporarily. I can't miss this sake.
Limited winter sake. Originally, Kasumitsuru is my favorite sake. It is also great as an everyday food sake. It has a sharp and crisp taste made with Hyogo Kitanishiki rice. The label says it is fragrant, but I didn't find the aroma to be that strong. I thought it was easy to drink despite the high alcohol content of the unpasteurized sake, but it might be a little hard for people who are not used to drinking sake.
At any rate, it's the best sake I've had in Japan in a long time!
I was looking through some old photos and stumbled upon this one! It was given to me on stage by Iinuma Honke after I won a prize out of over 200 people at an event where sake breweries from all over Japan gathered together. It was an event when Corona wasn't even a name. I miss those days.
I remember the taste was crisp, refreshing and dry. Now I want to buy and drink it by myself.
So thrilled to be able to buy the crop in Europe!
It has a gorgeous aroma and sweet taste at the beginning of the drink, but after that, the aroma in the nose is clean and easy to drink.
The price is about twice as much as in Japan, but it's not enough to drink only wine. I'm going to drink sake when I go back to Japan!
I was able to increase my sake repertoire in Germany! Sake drunk on an open terrace is the best. It's fruity and refreshing, but the aroma is subdued. The sake is clean and fruity, but the aroma is subdued, and the sharpness is so good that I finished it in no time.
I think it's thick and delicious. It's a delicious alcoholic beverage! As you'd expect from an ANA lounge, their choice of sake is sophisticated and always satisfies me!
As the brand name suggests, it's a fruity sake with a strong floral scent! It's been a while since I've had a standard fruity sake, but it's delicious lol!
Please read this instead of me explaining it to you lol!
We had some delicious, freshly squeezed sake!
And don't miss the female Toji's Youtube video!
The following is a quote from the website: =====
Junmai Daiginjo "Judo" won the gold medal in the Junmai Daiginjo category at Kura Master 2020, a sake judging event held in France on September 10, 2020.
Junmai Daiginjo "Judo" was released in 2018 as an export-only product as a casual line of Nada Kiku Shuzo's best Daiginjo, "Shuzo no Susuke" (Mikinosuke). It was created as a new series to commemorate the achievements of Kawaishi Shuzonosuke, the founder's younger brother and the first person to spread judo in France, who is known as the "father of French judo."
We started brewing "Judo" with the idea of "letting people know about Sakuzonosuke's achievements" and "introducing Harima-made sake to the world.
The ingredients are carefully selected from "Hyogo Yume Nishiki" produced in Harima, the birthplace of Shuzonosuke. In order to maximize the appeal of Hyogo Yume Nishiki, the rice is polished to a low 50%, which is rare for a junmai daiginjo, and the aim is to create a sake with a good balance of acidity and sweetness.
I got the spring only sake! It's so sudsy that you have to be careful opening the bottle. It wasn't like a Nabeshima with a rich aroma and flavor, but rather a sake with a clean taste and a complex flavor. It has a beautiful acidity and a great sharpness. This is the kind of sake you want to drink with everyone as a toast at hanami. Hurry up and get your Corona!
The day after I emptied two bottles of Kouei Kiku, I bought this Funaguchi Kikusui at a convenience store!
You really shouldn't evaluate sake by price or brewery name alone.
I think this sake is now a legend. It's a wonderful sake that has the freshness of nama-shu with the deep flavor of umeguchi.
By the way, though, the same Kiku's Kou Kiku was really good too!
Agreed. I believe it was preceded by Ichiban Shibori. It was the pioneer of undiluted sake. It's so close to home that we tend to forget its value. As you say, it is a legend❗️.
Kouryugiku second stage! There is a tingling sensation when you open the bottle, but the taste is clean and the aroma of melon spreads in your mouth. The aftertaste is short and crisp, and you can keep drinking it for a long time, this is a really bad sake lol!
Even though it's a nama-shu, it was recommended to me that it also tastes great warmed, so I'll be enjoying it warmed tomorrow!
