You really shouldn't evaluate sake by price or brewery name alone.
I think this sake is now a legend. It's a wonderful sake that has the freshness of nama-shu with the deep flavor of umeguchi.
By the way, though, the same Kiku's Kou Kiku was really good too!

寿梨庵Agreed. I believe it was preceded by Ichiban Shibori. It was the pioneer of undiluted sake. It's so close to home that we tend to forget its value. As you say, it is a legend❗️.
