My favorite glass broke and I purchased a tin drinking glass. I heard that tin sake cups give a mellow taste, and I would like to continue to enjoy delicious sake with my new sake cups. Now for the purple space. As usual, I had a hard time opening the bottle😓. Fresh fruity aroma like green flesh melon or blue banana, not so strong and elegant. A beautiful sake with a well-balanced sweetness. Slightly sweet and sour, the sourness became more pronounced than the sweetness after 2 days of storage. It was delicious. Thank you for the sake 😄.

My wife and son got this as a souvenir from a visit to Ibaraki🎵. A fragrant sake with juicy notes of apple, pear, and melon. The rice flavor is strong, the sweetness is moderate, and the alcohol is strong and powerful. The bitterness comes into play in the latter half and seems to tie the whole thing together, and the acidity is moderate. The name is unique, but it was a delicious sake. Thank you for the treat 😀.

It's an eye-catching, flashy label 😵. If the back label says "A must drink for omatists," you can't afford not to drink it. It has a gorgeous juicy fruity aroma with a slightly sour strawberry and pineapple flavor. The fruity aroma is matched by a full-bodied sweetness like honey and a fruity sour taste. The bitterness and umami were detected in the latter half of the taste. The rich flavor made me wonder if it is better suited to be drunk leisurely after a meal than as a mid-meal drink. It was delicious 😄. Thank you for the meal 😄.

This sake is characterized by a citrusy taste with a yogurt-like fermentation and a woody, grapefruit-like flavor. It has a strong acidity, plus some bitterness in the second half. The lemon-like freshness is pleasantly white wine-like. It is lightly cloudy and has a delicious rice flavor. It is a low-alcohol, easy-to-drink sake. The concept of this sake is that it goes well with seafood, and it certainly seems to go well with oysters, seafood, and white meat fish. I had it with fried oysters and it was a great match. I found fresh aromas of melon, blue banana, and muscat. There was also a yogurt-like aroma and alcoholiness that was somewhat classic. In addition to the sweetness and rice flavor, I detected a bit of bitterness and acidity in the second half. It was a treat!

This is my first time drinking Akabu at home. Yamadanishiki, Omachi, and Aizan were lined up at the liquor store, but being a self-confessed omatologist, I bought Omachi without hesitation. It has a gorgeous, juicy aroma like grapes and strawberries, with a strong sweetness and acidity, and the umami of the rice is also fully apparent. Well balanced, refreshing in the second half, sweet and juicy and delicious. Thank you very much for the meal 😊.

I opened the bottle with some trepidation, even though the bottle was cooled to the point of requiring refrigeration when opened. Someone wrote in a review that it smells like young bananas, and that's exactly what it smells like. It has a fresh and crisp aroma, a tingling fizziness, and a strong acidity and bitterness. It has a bit of a cloudy taste, but perhaps that is why I could taste the rice so well. Thank you very much for the meal 😊.

I received this army label last year and it got me hooked on purple air, and I visited the brewery for a tour during GW, and it brought back memories of walking down the straight road in the rice fields from the station. I am sure they must have gone through a lot of hardship to brew sake in the freezing cold during this season, and I am grateful to them for that. The cork was as hard as ever to open... 😓. It has a fruity and juicy flavor of grapes, strawberry-like berryiness, and ripe melon, with a sweet center, and acidity and a bit of bitterness to tighten up the taste. It was as delicious as ever. Thanks for the treat😄.

I remember that I enjoyed Fukui Prefecture's sake such as Kuroryu and Bon when I drank them outside. This was my first time to drink at home and my first time to drink Hakuryu. It has a juicy aroma like apple or pineapple and a good alcohol content. The taste was sweet and umami, and the acidity and bitterness tightened up the flavor. As the name says "rice," it was a delicious sake with the full flavor of rice 👍Thank you for the treat 😋.

Following the orikarami nama-sake, we received the hi-ire version. The bottles are the same, and the only difference in appearance is whether or not there is a nama-shu sticker on the bottle. This sake also has a fruity flavor like grapes, but the fruity aroma is a bit weaker and I could detect a little graininess, woody aroma, and alcohol. The taste was juicy, with a bit more sweetness, acidity, and bitterness than the ogara-mi nama-shu, but the ogara-mi nama-shu had a more gorgeous aroma and a stronger umami flavor of rice. I preferred the ogara-mi nama-shu, but both were very tasty.

Yamawa Shuzoten (Yamawa and Washigakuni) and Shinzawa Shuzoten (Hakurakusei and Atago no Matsu) collaborated to brew this limited edition sake, which has been released every New Year at alternating breweries since 2019, and is now in its 7th year. I first had the 2024 version brewed by Yamawa Sake Brewery last year and personally liked it so much that I purchased both the draft and fire-aged versions of the 2025 version brewed by Shinzawa Sake Brewery. Last year's bottle was a beautiful blue bottle, and this year's is also a cool bottle with a luxurious feel. We started with the nama sake. It has a sweet fruity aroma reminiscent of purple grapes (like Delaware) and a freshness unique to nama-shu. The taste had an excellent balance of sweetness, acidity, bitterness, and umami, with a particularly delicious sweetness and umami from the rice. I felt a slight tingling alcohol sensation, but after a day, it became more relaxed. I am looking forward to the fire-brewed version.

Hi Zuoton, ☀️ I had a Yamawasei recommended to me by a liquor store 2 years ago and it was delicious 😋 I thought the one from last year was rather dry! This year we have also purchased both the fresh and fire-brewed sake 🫡I'm looking forward to it now 😊♪

I have been looking for Sakuta for a long time, but could not find it. The first liquor store I went to had it and I bought it immediately😍. The fruity sweet aroma of banana and melon was elegant, and I also detected grain and woody aromas. Before drinking it, I assumed it would be sweet and juicy, but surprisingly it has a dry, clean, crisp taste, with a touch of alcohol, bitterness, and acidity, and the sweetness is weak. I think it is a sake that brings out the best taste as a food sake. It went extremely well with grilled fish. We enjoyed it very much...thank you for the meal 😋.

I have had 寫楽 a few times when drinking out, but this is my first time drinking it at home. It is a bit cloudy with a hint of ogoromi. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with a strong aroma of isoamyl acetate, like banana-flavored sweets. The taste is mainly sweet, and it is a very easy-drinking sake with a sweet flavor. I was looking at your post and thought it was probably my favorite sake. I finally found it 🤗. It has a juicy aroma of strawberries, pineapple, and apples. The taste is sweet, bitter, and slightly umami, but it also has acidity and a clean aftertaste. It was just as I imagined it would be.
