ささまさむね特別純米 にごり 生酒
ずおとん
The lady at my favorite liquor store, where I bought a bottle of Sasasamune special junmai the other day, told me that the nigori sake is also very tasty, so if you see it, give it a try!
The red-lettered shoulder label warning against opening the bottle with too much pressure makes a big impact. The product introduction on the Internet says that it is an explosive active sake that is made to spill out when the bottle is opened. I chilled the bottle to a crisp and opened it with some trepidation, but it was surprisingly easy to open. It was still freshly made, so fermentation in the bottle may not have progressed that much.
That said, the fizzy sensation was quite strong and shrieky. In addition to the yogurt-like fermentation aroma, it has a fresh fruity aroma like apples and a woody aroma, and the strong bitterness on the palate gives it a grapefruit flavor. It also has a strong acidity and sweetness. After mixing the nigori thoroughly, the aroma became milder and the flavor mellower. After one day, the flavor seems to have mellowed even more.
This time, we also enjoyed the sasasamune...thank you 😁.
