Shiga Local Sake Festival in Otsu 2025④. Sato Shuzo and Kohama booth. This time, all the sake were made with Yamadanishiki. ◉Kohama Junmai Ginjo-shu Unfiltered Nama-shu Nama-shu Fruity aroma. The aroma is fruity, with a slightly bitter chocolate flavor and a rich, mellow flavor. This was my favorite type of sake. Kohama Tokubetsu Junmai Sake A standard sake. It is often served at restaurants that serve funazushi. A good food sake. Junmai Ginjo Namazu Jiyu Read as "ume naru jiyu" (literally, "while being born, it is free"). Nama-zake. I think they said they use a yeast that produces high malic acid. Pleasant acidity with a fruity taste. They also make ume (plum) sake and a blue colored sake that is a ginjo-shu.

Good evening! From the past history, I'll upload the sakes I drank at #Ginura Sake Bar. This time, it's "Senshin". This sake is made by Asahi Shuzo in Niigata Prefecture. It is 5 years old, but it tastes so beautiful that I felt it was boring for the price. I don't know how I would feel if I drank it now. I would like to drink it again at Gin Kura. (^O^)

This is my second post tonight, back home to my parents 🙌. Kubota Kenshin Junmai Daiginjo 2021BY✨ I'm opening a bottle to feel a traditional sake for the first time in a while: ☺️ The rice used is 100% Takananishiki, and the polishing ratio is higher than that of Manju, which is a high-end line. The aroma is of the light, dry Niigata sake of yesteryear, but with a hint of matured sweet grain 😊The taste is a perfect complement to Japanese food as a mid-meal sake, with a sharp aftertaste, but with a soft, full-bodied rice sweetness that is delicious in its own right 🤤.

The third drink at my favorite yakitori restaurant was Gizaemon Natsu-damon, which I had during a break in the drinking Shinsei. This is another summer sake from my favorite Mie sake that I was very curious about. The aroma is not so strong. It has an energetic taste with a tingling sensation when you put it in your mouth. It was a very tasty sake with a good balance of refreshing sweetness and bitterness ✨.

This is Gizaemon Junmai Daiginjo Autumn Damon. The aroma is mild, but it smells like Muscat in the mouth. It has a good acidity and a mellow taste, and is a delicious sake. It is better to drink it not too cold.

The Last Five Cups of Tsu Night I think I have posted this before, When I think of Gizaemon, I have an image of a black label. It is a dark sake with a mellow mouthfeel, but with a strong umami flavor. It has a stable flavor. ❗️ I enjoyed Mie sake...thank you!

When I went back to my parents' house, I didn't have any sake in stock, so I bought this bottle at a nearby supermarket. It was sold for about 1,000 yen in an ordinary supermarket that rarely stocks sake, so I honestly thought it would be good if I could drink it, but it turned out to be a very tasty sake that greatly exceeded my expectations 😆. It has an elegant sweetness and a light mouthfeel that breaks up nicely without any miscellaneous flavours, making it a good all-round sake that can be drunk alone or with food👍. The sake has been awarded the Gold Medal in the Wine Glass Sake Award 2020😄. It's a great sake to drink alone or with food.

480 yen A clear peachy sour smell. When you shake it, you can smell the sparkling smell. Pear peach thin bitter taste. As you drink it, you can drink it like water, with a sense of rice in the distance. It is delicious. When it is heated up, the chestnut and rice taste comes out and it is refreshing. It is easy to drink. It seems to reset the inside of your mouth. Delicious both cold and warmed.

This is another Michinoku favorite, Fukushi Shiboritate nama-shu, new rice, new sake. It has a fruity aroma with a hint of fruitiness. It has a bit of sweetness, but the bitterness finishes it off, making it a delicious sake that you will never get tired of drinking.

Purchased at a supermarket in Karuizawa. I did not expect much...but I experienced the power of Nagano sake🍶...aroma: a faint sweet aroma of rice, a clear sweet bitterness...the bitterness is just right and does not bother me...it is delicious😋...but it is also delicious😋 when drunk as is... ...but it really comes into its own as a food sake! It's a very beautiful sake that doesn't interfere with food 🍶♪ I'm sipping it with a side dish of inada I caught in Sagami Bay 😋♪ This is delicious 😋♪....

A sake brewery in Shiwa-machi, Shiwa-gun, Iwate Prefecture, the birthplace of the Nanbu Touji clan. The oldest sake brewery in Iwate, Azumamine Sake Brewery. Founded in 1684, which means... Edo period (@_@) I admire the continuous efforts and wisdom of the people who have kept this taste and this brewery alive since time immemorial. That is why we can enjoy this taste now. Thank you ( ´ oo ` ` ) The taste is sweet and refreshing without being boring to drink. Excellent as a food sake.
