I received this as a gift from a person in Hokkaido on business. It was so gorgeous and mild, and so easy to drink! It was so easy to drink, I easily finished a bottle! It goes well with cheese and crackers, and with dried firefly squid, a souvenir from the Noto Peninsula! I honestly can't drink enough! One more bottle to go: ...... I'll hold out...lol

After finishing my last (Fukuhachi), I went into Ryu - a very good wine! Appare was very white wine-like. It was refreshing and easy to drink. This time, Ryu was a very Japanese sake! Mellow and gentle, it would go well with dashi dishes. I enjoyed it with potato chips while saying, "I'm not a fan of potato chips," lol.

The last section of the Kuroryu we received... It's delicious... sorry to say it, but it's definitely better than the last sake... It has a flavor that doesn't give you a bad taste. We had it with motsu nabe (motsu stew).

At taverns. It said "Niigata rice". What kind of rice? The sake was good, but this izakaya was too far off the mark... If the food was good, the sake would have been even better... too bad...

I opened it to drink it already before chilling it! It is mild, sweet and fruity. It goes down my throat without a sticky feeling. I got a set of 3 kinds and sent 2 bottles to my son who was back home. I'm sure they were delicious too.

The aroma when you open the bottle, and when you drink it, the sweetness and mildness are amazing! I received a very nice sake! I am always grateful for the sake that I can't afford to buy by myself. I took a look at Kuroryu's Instagram. It's a very stylish picture.

It is a little sweet and fruity while going in smoothly. It is a gift from my son, a college student who came back to Japan. I want to drink it carefully, but it is so delicious that it will be gone in no time.

I recently drank (Koryu), which was punchy and still lingering, so it lacked a little more character than I expected... sorry... It's not so much the fruity flavor, but the robustness of the rice. It is delicious. I will enjoy it for a while!

We got it again! Yummmmmm!!! I even feel like I won't get drunk lol! It's that easy to get into lol. I was drinking another sake before drinking Kuroryu, but it wasn't enough, so I changed to Kuroryu. I opened a bottle all at once!

The other day I was paired with a white junmai ginjo, which was less tangy than the brewer's secret sake and went down my throat much more smoothly. We had it with curry and it was delicious!
