Last weekend I was out of sake to go with oden, so I went to the local supermarket and bought a 300㎖ bottle for the sake. It has a sweet and refreshing taste. It's good at hiya, but it tastes even better when it's warmed up to human skin temperature to increase the sweetness. However, I thought it would be too clean to pair with oden. I chose this sake because I wanted to keep it light, but.... If I wanted to warm it up, I could have used a more robust Junmaishu or even Honjozo. I'm still learning💦.

On a trip to Shiga, I visited Hirai Shoten. The quaint appearance of the store and the display of products were a sight to behold. Today's bottle was the "Sake Brewer's 3003000 Year Old" (pictured left). The aroma is melon, apple, and pineapple, and the first sip is a punch. It has a mellow sweetness, but the acidity and bitterness make it crisp and refreshing. Delicious. Well, Shiga Prefecture was fun! I'm also looking forward to Kosetsu (I heard it's read as Fouche) on the right side of the photo 😄.

<Chapter 6 Kaganoi in Niigata. This is my first time😊. I had never heard of Shiroto before. I felt a nostalgic, warm flavor 🎵. It's more than just a dry, light, umami taste, which is typical of Niigata! The aroma of rice with a strong umami flavor was wonderful👍✨.

Purchased when Nemuchi and I stopped by Hankyu's Depa basement on the way back from traveling SAKE. I found the sake that Mr. Sakeran was drinking, so I bought it. I have bought a sake with the same label, but I think it tastes different, so maybe it was the Gohyakumangoku version? There is a trace of sweetness, but the basic taste is dry. It has a strong extract. It's not my favorite line of sake, but there is something about it that I can't dislike 🤔. This sake is not a sake yeast yeast yeast yeast, but I think it tastes similar to Daishichi that Mr. Sakeran praised so highly. On the second day, it tastes a little sweet like candy.

I decided to make a last spurt to conquer the whole country 🤣Tottori and Shimane, I don't get to see them very often so I popped a bottle 😂I'm opening it all at once👍. First, Inatahime‼️. The name is "Gouriki rice". The name sounds powerful😁. The flavor comes fast and furious! The sweetness is only slightly perceptible and the sharpness finishes quickly😋. When you drink it with octopus wassa, the sweetness also appears and it is delicious👍.

Purchased at Nakamura Sake Shop in Toride. The aroma is of a pulpy red type of melon, a bit like a smooth chervil, and the sake lees flavor is not too strong. The taste is heavy, with other elements more noticeable than the smoothness of the raw sake. The alcohol content is 19%, but it is not too strong and punchy. I looked at the production date and found that it was dated 24.11...but it looks like it was released last year. I bought this sake because I wanted to drink a nama-shu, but I guess it was not the right sake for this time of the year when hiyaoroshi sake is distributed. It's normally tasty, but maybe for a cooler time of year. It has a sweetness, but it is not spread out in a mischievous way, and the center of gravity is heavy and cohesive.

I returned home for the holidays to participate in cleaning out the oversized trash at my parents' house. After sweating a bit, I found Izumikawa in the fridge and immediately opened a bottle of this unexpected trophy 🎉. It has a slightly soft sweetness, a gradual flavor, and a bitterness that comes in the latter half of the bottle. It is smooth and easy to drink! It is the big brother of Tobiroki, and I enjoyed Izumikawa for the first time in a long time 😘.

Izumikawa's Funakuchi. It is a slightly orizumi (orizumi is a slightly cloudy, raw sake), so the first thing to drink is the top clear liquid. The aroma is still young and melon-like, with a soft sweetness and a tangy, spicy bitterness. The balance of sweetness, spiciness, and bitterness gradually improves. When mixed with ori, it becomes slightly cloudy. The spiciness subsides and the sweetness increases, creating a mellow mouthfeel that keeps you coming back for more. Izumikawa Jungin Nanaguchi Hon Nama Nama ✨✨✨✨ Izumikawa is a sake that is distributed within the prefecture by the famous sake brewery HIROKI, but this Jungin Funakuchi Honnen is exceptionally popular and our expectations are skyrocketing. ⤴️ The bottle was opened very quietly, with a little lees at the bottom of the bottle. The aroma is similar to that of Tobiroki, but it is not flashy, with fresh melon and pear fruits.
