Bought it for a moment with Rusty Cat Rock. Also got Funaguchi Smoked incense! It has a strong alcohol taste, but it has a sweetness with a tangy flavor and a spiciness that is very strong. Much tastier than I expected.

Niigata Souvenirs Part 2 The last one was a gift from Kimi no Ii, along with the Yukinaka Ume. Seasonal summer sake ☀️ It was hot yesterday, so I chilled it to the perfect temperature before serving. I had bought it about 7 years ago and I remembered how delicious it was😁. This is the first time I've seen it in a while at Ikebukuro Seibu, so I was nostalgic and bought it. The sake rice is Gin-no-sato, developed by the National Institute of Agrobiological Sciences for western Japan. This is the third bottle of sake rice research. We were careful to open the bottle. It erupted at the same time as the bottle was opened. A sparkling toast? It is good on its own. The dryness of the sake's 15% sake level comes out in the latter half of the bottle. It is the type that disappears in a blink of an eye. I can't remember the last time I tasted it.

Today, following yesterday's Aizan drinking event, I went to the Osaka Bay Tower's Japanese sake festival event 😀. I was informed in advance by bouken-san that there was a sake that Saku-san usually does not have, so I made a toast with his wife with that sake 😇. The sake was even clearer and fruity than Saku's usual sake, and we were very satisfied from the start 😀. During the live taiko performance by three women, my wife and I, who are both learning taiko, were overwhelmed by their amazing performance 😇. We were able to compare over 130 different types of sake, but my favorite was from Yamazaru, a brewery located in Asa, Yamaguchi Prefecture 😇. From the aroma to the mouthfeel, it was right up my alley👍! I had a chance to talk to the brewer and asked him about the stores in the Kansai area that carry it.

Junmai Ginjo🍶Aged Sake✨Snow❄️☃️ Aged sake, light yellow in color. Cold sake, matured, Daruma Masamune-like. Not heavy, warmed to 60 degrees. Soft around the edges. Mellow. ☺️ It's still a sake for warming up. I served it with scallop sashimi sent from my relatives in Hokkaido 😋The scallops were huge and delicious💕. Purchased at Iida Sake Shop @ Shiki.

Last weekend I was out of sake to go with oden, so I went to the local supermarket and bought a 300㎖ bottle for the sake. It has a sweet and refreshing taste. It's good at hiya, but it tastes even better when it's warmed up to human skin temperature to increase the sweetness. However, I thought it would be too clean to pair with oden. I chose this sake because I wanted to keep it light, but.... If I wanted to warm it up, I could have used a more robust Junmaishu or even Honjozo. I'm still learning💦.

On a trip to Shiga, I visited Hirai Shoten. The quaint appearance of the store and the display of products were a sight to behold. Today's bottle was the "Sake Brewer's 3003000 Year Old" (pictured left). The aroma is melon, apple, and pineapple, and the first sip is a punch. It has a mellow sweetness, but the acidity and bitterness make it crisp and refreshing. Delicious. Well, Shiga Prefecture was fun! I'm also looking forward to Kosetsu (I heard it's read as Fouche) on the right side of the photo 😄.

<Chapter 6 Kaganoi in Niigata. This is my first time😊. I had never heard of Shiroto before. I felt a nostalgic, warm flavor 🎵. It's more than just a dry, light, umami taste, which is typical of Niigata! The aroma of rice with a strong umami flavor was wonderful👍✨.

Purchased when Nemuchi and I stopped by Hankyu's Depa basement on the way back from traveling SAKE. I found the sake that Mr. Sakeran was drinking, so I bought it. I have bought a sake with the same label, but I think it tastes different, so maybe it was the Gohyakumangoku version? There is a trace of sweetness, but the basic taste is dry. It has a strong extract. It's not my favorite line of sake, but there is something about it that I can't dislike 🤔. This sake is not a sake yeast yeast yeast yeast, but I think it tastes similar to Daishichi that Mr. Sakeran praised so highly. On the second day, it tastes a little sweet like candy.
