It's been a long time since I've taken the high road✨.
100% Yamae-Nishiki
Polishing ratio 38
Alcohol 15.5
Nice aroma, well-balanced sweetness, umami and acidity, slightly classic.
Spiciness at the end.
On the second day, it becomes more rounded, less pungent and very tasty. ❣️
On the 3rd or 4th day, it becomes more rounded and has a delicious sweetness, and the spiciness is not bothersome.
It was delicious all through the 4 days 😊.
This sake is from the non-gold medal winning tank of the two tanks brewed for the competition.
The price is therefore a little more reasonable.
I bought it thinking that the taste would probably not change much!
I'm sure I have preconceived notions, but it still tasted great ✨.
Good evening, Pon. ☺️
Classic design. 😊
You had a great time 😁.
I'm all about lo ten thousand lately.... 😂
I still have two more bottles waiting for me 🤭.
Hi Pon 😀
The label has a classic feel to it and it looks like it would take a lot of courage for me to get my hands on it 🤣.
But I think I could drink it if it's my favorite Yamae Nishiki 😀.
Pon-chan's evaluation makes me want to try it 😀.
Pon-chan
Good evening...at a glance, it looks like a classical sake such as honjozo, but it is junmai daiginjo 🤩.
If it has a sweet and sour taste, I would like to try it as it is one of my favorites👍
Good evening, Pon 😃.
Pine Peony😳I didn't know Matsuo had such a sake!
The label design is also intoxicating with a classic brand name that would be a hit with both pine and peony hunters: ☺️
I'd love to try it 🤤.
Hanapin, thanks for this one too 😊.
The label was classic but a bit modern and easy drinking royal road 👍
Romain is nice isn't it ❣️ I want to drink Romain hard one day 😁.
Thanks again for this one, Yasbay 😊.
This is not as fruity as it looks, but it is easy to drink with sweetness! You don't need to be brave at all 😊👍
I wish I could describe the taste better 💦🙏.
Thanks again for this one, Kojo 😊.
Ahahaha, it doesn't look like a honjozo, does it? It doesn't even look like a honjozo 😂they said it was covered with a cloth in the store to make it look more luxurious 😆The taste was indeed a gold medal, well balanced and tasty ❣️
Aladdin, thank you for your time here 😊.
I like the pine hunter! There are so many of them and it will be fun to seek them out 🎶.
I'm glad you're giving us a close taste of the sake because it's expensive when it comes to the sake on display 🙏.
Hi mariage 🐦.
It seems that nowadays people tend to shy away from classic labels, and they tend to go for modern designs 💦I'm sorry to see them go as I'm one of those people who think they are cool 😢.
Hi Jay & Nobby 🐦.
I thought the label could be a little better... but I think it's better this way 😊I bet it's a lot of work to make a special label only 💦.
Matsuo "Masamune" Junmai Hi-ire
Rating 4.4
Rice used: Yamae-Nishiki, Polishing ratio 68%, Alcohol 14.5
Aroma, juiciness, and the sweetness of rice can be felt in this sake. Matsuo "Masamune" has a clean and crisp acidity with a moderate bitterness in the aftertaste.
Matsuo Nobuno Daichi - Shinshu Yogurt Sake 720ml
Ingredients: Fermented milk (from Kurohime Kogen Farm), sake (rice, rice malt)
Rice polishing ratio: 59
Alcohol content: 4-5%.
This is yogurt or soft-serve ice cream!
I paired it with ham and cheese, avocado, and tomatoes on a donk bucket and it did not get drunk at all.
On the second day it was starting to slosh and harden. You might want to drink it up once you open the bottle.
Sometimes, such a change of pace is good ^_^🍦.
I choose to look for a product at a liquor store back home. I was attracted to it, so I bought it.
The label said, "Mild aroma, crisp, mellow and dry.
I tried it and found it to be just like that.
I want to repeat this!

This one was served at Miyajima-san last month.
It is mild, yet refreshingly delicious 😋.
It's not flashy, but it's a good sake that you'll grow to love 🍶.

After drinking wine at the first restaurant, a home-grown vegetable restaurant was closed on a holiday and a soba restaurant was full, but when I looked in, I found a seat available.
The first glass of sake was Matsuo!
I heard it won some kind of gold medal!
The price is a bit expensive, but I'll order it!
And then, the delicious, modern taste!
The hamo katsu (hamo cutlet) we ordered came out quickly, even though we were told it would take a while since it was deep-fried!
Matsuo is delicious no matter what you drink!
Purchased at Shinano Roadside Station.
I drink it by Lake Nojiri as it is.
It is unfiltered and bought immediately.
It tastes dry. It tastes dry and refreshing.
It was refrigerated, so I kept it cold,
When it is served in a glass and the temperature rises, it becomes richer and the tongue has a strong taste.
It has a rich taste and a smooth texture.
It is the kind of sake that you can drink in small sips.
The aroma is mild.
The rice umami spreads gently after being absorbed.
It has a soft graininess.
The texture is clean and light with moderate acidity.
The balance is good, and it does not seem to be boring to drink.
It is smooth and crisp.
Slightly light and straightforward umami spiciness.
And a very reasonable price!
I liked it.
Degree of liking 4.5/5
At a friend's house.
Reunion after a year.
It was delicious and went on and on, and my friend had to stop me.
Next time I will bring something with apology.
Matsuo Togakushi Junmai Ginjo Limited Order Production 720ml
Rice used: 100% Sanke Nishiki from Nagano Prefecture
Rice polishing ratio 59
Alcohol content 15.5
Manufactured on April 22, 2024
Purchased and kept in the refrigerator at home for one year, opened the bottle ^ ^.
It is mild and not flashy, but it is soft and honestly delicious.
Kikusen, Katsuma, Hirotogawa, Wakanami, etc. It is the sense of the store owner.
I will be in Saku next Monday for two nights. But since we are staying overnight in the mountains, we will only have a chance to visit sake shops early Monday morning or Wednesday evening. And all the famous liquor stores are closed on Wednesdays😭.
Hi @Mizuhashi 🐦.
I see you are going to Saku! There are many sake breweries, so there seems to be a variety of sake available, but are you working? Your schedule seems quite difficult 🥺I hope you will have some encounters even in such a situation 🙏.
Thank you, Pon 😭
I had to work this week, so I'm going to shift it around and my bad friend invited me to a golf course sleepover during summer vacation: ⛳️
It looks like it's pretty deep in the mountains, but I'll take my chances and try to get into town 😆.

Classical label.
The color is slightly yellowish with a pure rice flavor.
However, it is not old-fashioned, but rather a dry and delicious sake with a strong umami taste.
Sake rice is Yamae-Nishiki, and compared to the Yamae-Nishiki sake we have had so far, this is a delicious sake with strong acidity and dryness, and you can feel the potential of the sake rice!
