Pleasant! Sunny! Full in Full bloom! Cherry blossom viewing at Takada Park!
I bought this at a muffin shop on the way to Takada Park to see the cherry blossoms. I was looking to see which one would look best against the cherry blossoms in the daytime...it was Katafune's Saisei, a transparent, airy design based on a refreshing light blue color. The play button ▷ is transparent and the light from the back view reaches through the clear bottle and sake, the view in the back is the Sakura Road in Takada Park. Nice weather and great cherry blossoms! Beautiful...!
It's quite rare to be able to take pictures at a hanami in Niigata with such comfortable temperatures, blue sky, and in full bloom. It was perfect. And for some reason, it's empty today... thank goodness!
The theme for the fifth year of the Saisei series, which challenges katabune that have never been seen before, is low-al and fruity aroma.
Fruity like pear, refreshing like ramune,
Lightly flowing, slightly gaseous,
refreshing bitterness like a carbonated beverage,
The sweetness that comes afterwards
The sweetness that comes afterwards and the rice flavor that spreads slowly.
It has a beautifully smooth taste that quickly slips away,
It is delicious!
The more you drink, the more the aroma changes, which is interesting.

Also recommended to be heated 😳.
I've learned that the alcohol taste is different when heated than when chilled.
I learned that the alcoholic taste that comes out when it is cold is different when it is hot!
Thank goodness it's still cold!

We purchased this wine at Tachihara Sake Shop in Joetsu City last fall.
First prize in the International Wine Challenge SAKE category - Honjozo
It has a sweet, mild umami taste with a surprisingly dry aftertaste.
We had it with Kurose yellowtail sashimi from a nearby supermarket that serves great fish, and a 7-Eleven squid and cucumber with a deliciously spicy sauce 😃.
Ordered it cold. I drank almost a whole bottle by myself. The smell is a little spicy at first, but the sweet aftertaste gives the impression of being well put together.
A friend recommended this drink to me. Delicious! Itkey and Shiroro Hanabi are sweet and wine-like. It's like a wine that is an extension of sake. It's like a wine that is an extension of sake.
I never thought I would be able to enjoy Katafune at a kaku-uchi (corner bar).
The sake was thought to be extremely sweet, with a sake degree of -50 degrees. It was sweet, but the aftertaste was not bad.
The other sake was unusually dry, so I could enjoy it alternately!
Katafune was given to me by a junior employee of my company.
This is the first time for me to drink Katafune at home,
It is a Niigata Prefecture sake, but as is typical of Joetsu sake, it is slightly sweet and full-bodied, and delicious.
It is a good sake, carefully made.
I had it with furofuki daikon (Japanese radish).
