Last week I visited Dewano-Fuji at Hankyu Department Store, but I went to Umemoto Sake-ten in Nishinakajima because I thought I could find more variety at a special distributor. (Note that they have moved from the location shown on the map of Sake-no-wa, and they have a corner bar inside after 4:00 p.m.) I was a bit lost, so I asked the waitress and she let me try a sample. Melon-like fruity sweet taste. Slightly refreshing? It was delicious, but Junmai Arabashiri seemed rarer, so I bought that one 😊.

Hachitan-nishiki has a nice aroma... my favorite fruity flavor... and the mouthfeel... a good bitterness of sweetness and bitterness, followed by the sharpness of Hachitan-nishiki! Another brand of YAMAMORI Purchased at a supermarket near my house. It is a Hachitan-Nishiki, a specialty of Teshimaya, and the taste is almost the same as Yamori's. The aroma is fruity and melon-like. The base is sweet and delicious, but after drinking it, it may seem drier than Yamori's Hachitan-nishiki. Kenshin Special Honjozo 2021BY I'm going to have a glass of this sake, which has been in hibernation for more than 2 years, with a plum crystal I bought in the neighborhood as a side dish. The taste is dry and crisp when cold, but as it gets closer to room temperature, the sweetness and umami of the rice is concentrated in the attack, and it changes to a deliciously dry taste. Continued from yesterday. The second bottle is a sake called Kenshin from Niigata. This bottle was given to me by a friend of my son. The timing was not good, so I was finally able to open it.
