I thought she might be able to drink cheaper with the family discount, but alas 😢. Since the last Ryuki was sweet, we wanted to try something a little dry, so we went looking for some Shizuoka sake 🤗. I don't have an image of Shizuoka sake as a modern sake, but I wonder if there is any 😅. Well, I took it out of the fridge and drank it cold 😃. Yes, it's refreshingly dry but surprisingly soft on the palate and easy to drink 😗. I thought this would definitely taste better lukewarm 🍶, so I warmed it up and the mouthfeel became softer and softer 🍶❣️ It is not a sake that has any special characteristics, but the price is reasonable, so it is worth buying 🤭.

Shimane Local Sake Fair Osaka ③. Ichinomiya Sake Brewery of Iwami Ginzan and Rika. I had bought Yukika at Hanshin Department Store in Amagasaki in the past. I found out that it was Mr. Rika, the toji (master brewer), who was standing in the store at that time😅. I tasted the following Iwami Ginzan Special Junmai Hiyoshi Oroshi Rika Junmai Ginjo Kaihatanryu Ichitunya TANE Nama-zake Yukika Sparkling None of them left much of an impression on me, but I thought the Yukika was as tasty as ever. It was sweet and strong, like a strong calpis soda. I would like to try it again because Sugidama-san in Kyoto sells Iwami Ginzan.

It smells simple and sweet, like freshly baked bread. I have never tasted a sake with such an aroma. The mysterious brewing water is soft, slightly viscous, mineral, and translucent. The sweetness is like freshly baked bread, and the robust, tight rice flavor is as vibrant as ever. There is also a hint of acidity, which is probably due to the use of the sake yeast, but at any rate, it is full of umami. Tamura is a gem that is profound yet light, powerful yet gentle, and a contradiction in terms. It disappeared with a slight sharpness in the back of the throat. In recent years, an increasing number of popular sakes are being hailed as wine-like sake with a sweet and sour taste like grapes. Of course, I like these sake as well. But if you ask me which sake made from rice has the weight, lingering aftertaste, complexity, and simplicity of red wine, I would drink Tamura without hesitation. The baseball club team that my sons took care of when they were in junior high school was located in Uda, and this is a nostalgic place where we used to go every weekend. We used to pass by the brewery we visited this time, but this is the first time we visited there. It is called "Sake Brewery Street," but it is really a quiet street. And the taste of the sake.... There is not much aroma, and although you can feel the alcohol in your mouth, the dryness is not so high and the sake is easy to drink.
