It's Tuesday, and I'm celebrating the passing of my certification exam with a drink 🍶.
It was fruity, acidic and tasty. I could feel the alcohol in my mouth but it was fresh. Something new...!
A refreshing sake reminiscent of the Oirase stream.
It is light on the palate, but has a firm sake feel.
The aftertaste is fuller than the aroma.
The body is robust, which is typical of junmai.
The ginjo aroma stops in the mouth, and the aroma passing through the nose is faint.
It is a dignified, but not showy gem.
I like it a lot 🫶.
Here's one from the end of last year😅.
We went to a restaurant called Ringo no Hana in Arakicho 🍎.
I don't often drink Momokawa sake, but they had a sake made with Hakutsuru Nishiki🌾 so I ordered it🍶.
Momokawa is under Hakutsuru in Nada, so I guess that's why they use it 🤔.
The aroma on the nose is slightly sweet.
It has a classical feeling in the mouth, but the mild sweetness of low-temperature aging is nice.
But it is like the Nada sake I drank once upon a time 🤔.
By the way, I only know Hakutsuru's sake as Hakutsuru◯.
7.5%, liqueur made from nigori sake and apple juice.
Mildly apple-like taste and a hint of apple flavor in the thickening.
I would like to see more sourness from the apples 🍎. It is delicious, though.
