Today is my wife's birthday and we had a birthday party at a bistro called Agoi in Taipei.
We both had our favorite ogara-mi from the separate menu 😊.
The ingredients from all over Taiwan, the sake from Aichi, and the refreshing sweet orikarami worked well together without spoiling the meal. ☺️

This is the best hit of the last few months. I guess what I like these days is the umami-sour type. I like the balance of umami and acidity.
I enjoyed it cold, but it might be good warmed up.
Shikoku x Sake Country 2025 Sake Brewery Wonderland On Osaka - A Spectacle of Sake and Food in Shikoku
A soft and mild sake that is not too assertive.
It's not old-fashioned with a crisp taste, but it's not flashy either.
Looks good warmed up too!
I heard that there is a sake cellar in Haretoke, so I wanted to buy some when I went there, but it's not easy because of the annoying akko-michi.
Our local sake.
Hatsuyuki sake cup is "Sakura Sarasara".
I drank it last July. 😅
I remembered it when I went back to my hometown this GW and reviewed it.
It was just like the cute label says, it had a gentle and refreshing sweetness on the palate 🙄.
I think I was drinking it as a food sake because it's more on the dry side.
Maybe. 🤣
I forgot to buy it on this trip home but I'm rooting for you 😆👍
Hi MAJ 😃.
Last July 😆 memory test 🤗I'm curious about the sake 🍶 which is more dry with a beautiful bottle and label 😊Today, just when I was starting to drink sake, I raised the dusk orange 🍊 which MAJ told me about 👋.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby! 😄
My memory test is getting pretty out of date. 🤣But taste is just a feeling, that's how it is 😆👍I also had a twilight orange the other day! It was really good, but the review is yet to come. 🤣🤣
