I've known about this ice breaker for a while, but had somehow passed on it in Tamagawa. After seeing the many rave reviews on Sakenowa, I finally bought one 🙂. Oh, it's definitely thick and delicious! It's like a whiskey 👍. I'm convinced that it goes well on the rocks🤩. I was reminded that it's not just a summer drink that you can gulp down. I received a drinking set from a colleague. When I think of Iwate, Akabu is the first that comes to mind, But there are more than 20 sake breweries in Iwate alone. It was nice to have a variety of sake, not just the popular ones.

National Sake Fair 2025 in Osaka_70 Iwate Prefecture booth ⑤. Fukurai Shuzo is located in Kuji City. There is also a Raifuku Sake Brewery in Ibaraki Prefecture, so it looks like a mix-up. ◉Fukurai Special Junmai Fukurai is made from Ginotome sake rice. It has a soft mouthfeel, but the taste is rich and dark with a sweet umami flavor that is quite to my liking. The brewery is located in Kuji City, famous for being the location for NHK's morning TV series "Amachan".

National Sake Fair 2025 part65 Iwate Prefecture⑤Iwate Prefecture Fukurai-san in Kuji City I've seen posts of people drinking it on SNS, but I haven't seen this brand in Kansai. Polishing ratio 60%, Gingotome, 15%, Sake degree +2, Acidity 1.5 Giovanni's research yeast, 1411 yen Orthodox and light. Slightly sweet and full-bodied. Slightly classic 🤔.

Drinking continues at Don Chaya 🕺. We emptied the weird "Haneya", followed by another round 🍶. We chose our first brand that we could see in the cellar✨ First "Kame no Ou Junmai Ginjo Shiboritate" 🎉. Not much in the way of aroma, but a clean sweetness on the palate, with a pleasantly sharp and sweet [Kame-no-o] lingering finish! I found out later that they revived Kame-no-o and used this episode as a model for Natsuko's Sake, so in a sense, they are the pioneer of Kame-no-o 😁.

Ordered after the taxi driver. Also raw sake. It's called "Soma no Tengu". It is not possible to read it if it notices the frigana of the label. I'm sorry. It's as difficult to read as Kireuriwari in Osaka. Well, how is the taste...? It's been a long time since I drank muddled sake, so I had a strange feeling at the first sip, but the sweetness came, and I thought it was characteristic to change to sourness soon. I drank it up with some sea bream stew and enjoyed it.

Purchased at Umeda Department Store. (Hankyu or Hanshin) One of seven breweries in Nara Prefecture that belong to the Nara Prefecture Bodai-Hashimoto Sake Research Association. See label on back. Rich, mouthfeel It is a sweet type, but the far and spreading umami and bitterness It was delicious and matched well with food. It became mellow and mild when heated to lukewarm and I could enjoy it with ease 😁. I am interested in the history of sake only when I taste Bodaihashi.

It is slightly dry and has a nice sharpness so you won't get tired of drinking it 🤔It is a delicious sake, almost like a first squeezed raw sake 😚.

I received a bottle of sake from Sogen Sake Brewery, which was severely damaged by the Noto Peninsula earthquake 😀 I drink this sake often and have memories of going to the brewery last year to buy Kiri sake 😥 I hope they will resume sake production soon. It tends to be dry when paired with shime saba So... I drank it while eating fried chicken I drank it while eating snacks and drank half of it in no time 😂😂. I used only ayu (sweetfish) for this dish. I also served bonito and Spanish mackerel tataki with a lot of myoga. It has a slightly high alcohol content and sweetness for a Niigata sake, so it went well with the ayu fish, bonito and Spanish mackerel. It was a good evening drink.

A bowl of oden at an oden shop in Shizuoka Station. I had no idea about this brand. The best part of traveling is being able to drink this kind of local sake with local food 😆. A little sweet and full, with a clean dry finish. It is not flashy, but there is no alcohol feeling that lingers in the throat and it is very smooth to drink 😄. It goes great with Shizuoka oden, which is a thick, dark broth with fishmeal, and if we weren't on a family trip, we would be drinking it endlessly 😅.... Also, I had a local B gourmet dish called "Motsuru Curry" for the first time, which was also very tasty👍👍!

I'm not sure how to read it lol. It's a Junmai Ginjo, but the aroma has a grainy feel to it. When poured, it's a bit of a yamabuki color, with a hint of old sake in the beginning, but as it progresses, it develops a nice richness and flavor✨.
