This is Asahi Kiku Arahashiri, a Fukuoka souvenir 🍶. It's in a nice looking bottle, but it seems that during the new sake season, Fukuoka's sake is often served in these stoppered bottles. I thought it was nice because it can be corked tightly so it is easy to reuse. The initial aroma is slightly sweet, like cooked rice. In the mouth, it has a mild sweet flavor with a slight astringency. It finishes with a slight bitterness. The astringency was a bit strong, but the sake was delicious with a calm and full flavor typical of Asahi Kiku ✨.

Kansai Salmon Roe Bring and Share Year-End Party⑰. We said goodbye to Pon-chan, Kyuzo, Usagoten, Yasube, and Kaorin, and went to the second party. Shibuya with customers (1) Yesterday, a drinking party for a group of four with occasional customers. A rather nice restaurant on the edge of Shibuya. A little nice restaurant on the outskirts of Shibuya. The first sake was a request from one of the other guests, Niida Shizen-shu, which none of us had ever had before. (I've had it a few times myself 😆). But the "Tamura" that came out was the first time I had ever had it! 😘. It's like a natural sake, dark and strong. Sweet, tasty, sour all there 😋. But not as sweet as regular natural sake? First dish, hand-rolled seared conger eel and shijimi clam soup!
