This time it is Reiho from Tanzawa-yama.
This sake is from Kanagawa Prefecture.
It is an aged Junmai sake made with Awa Yamadanishiki and aged in tanks for over a year.
It is served at room temperature.
It has a pale yellow color.
The top aroma is a rounded mature aroma with a gentle fragrance.
The aroma alone is intoxicating and beautifully mature.
And when you take a sip
In the second half, the taste is sharp with a mild bitterness and a lingering aroma of matured aroma from the acidity with a flavorful outline.
Then, when heated to hot, the flavor of the sake is refined,
The flavor of the sake is neatly arranged,
The taste of soup stock-like umami and bitterness is pleasantly familiar to the body.
It may be because it's been a while since I've had a matured sake, but it's a taste that will penetrate your body. ♨️
I wanted to pair this with Yaki-Fujima from Wagashi Kaorufu in Sendagi.
The cake is light and fluffy, with azuki beans and dried figs in it, and the rum is juicy.
When served chilled, the rum is too strong and the cake is too assertive.
But when served warm, the sweet and complex aroma of the rum soaking into the cake and the moderate graininess of the azuki beans are complemented by the bittersweet flavor of the Tanzawayama. Ummm 😋
A mouth-watering moment at the end of July💕.
Good morning, Hirupeko 😃.
Heated sake & sweets in the middle of summer, it's a quintessential 🤤.
I love sake x sweets pairing, so I hope it will spread more in the world 🍶☺️
I'd also like to recommend Kunihiroya's sake cake in Hiroshima 😄
Hi Peco 🐦.
Heated sake and Japanese sweets are delicious 😊 and I'm so proud of you for coming up with this ✨.
I didn't know there was yaki in Ukishima 😳and dried fruits and western wine! I've only had steamed ones so I'm curious 😆.
Good evening, Aladdin-san. While getting Kaorufu-san's sweets, I enjoy thinking about which sake to pair with them 😆 I would also like to pair with Kunihiroya's western sake cake from Hiroshima 😋.
Good evening, Pon-chan. I can't describe it well but the baked floating island is more like a floating island than a pound cake 😅I loved the dried figs in it 😊Tanzawayama is also delicious!
Tanzawa Mountain Cat Label🐾
What's interesting is that when you look at it from the back, you can see a goldfish swimming and the silhouette of a cat peeking out from behind it. How stylish ✨.
The taste is quite strong, but not too strong and refreshing.
7/10
Tanzawayama's flagship.
It's an aged junmai sake designed to be heated, so naturally it was served heated.
It's a round, umami sake with a delicious flavor.
It was the second sake after the first, which was a more serious one, so it soaked up even more of my work.
Polishing ratio 70%.
It has a pleasantly sweet taste, but it also has a slight sourness that goes down the throat, so you won't get tired of drinking it!
I want to know more about Kanagawa sake!
Good evening, osugi! 🙋
Congratulations on your 700 check-ins! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I personally think that there are a lot of delicious and sweet sake in Kanagawa.
I haven't had the chance to meet many of them yet😅.
It is said to be junmai nama-shu, but while it is youthful, it is also spiky. I expect the mouthfeel would be better if it were laid down a little longer.
Despite being junmai, it has a strong alcohol taste like an aruze. It is a strange sake that has a caramel-like matured aroma. The overall balance is well balanced, which is strange.
It has a strong flavor, so it would be good with hormone stew, meat dishes with pepper and spices, and very spicy food, or strong food with strong flavor.
Alcohol, caramel, cooked rice
Famous for its heated sake? It is a famous heated sake from Tanzawayama.
I went to Sakatoya in Mizonokuchi to buy a bottle of Ayahana's slightly heated sake, but they were selling Reiho by weight, which is only sold in 1 sho (1.5 liter) bottles.
First, I tasted it cold.
The first aroma was slightly sweet.
In the mouth, it has a beautiful sweetness with a hint of sourness.
The sweetness is moderate and refreshing.
Next, warmed sake.
The first aroma is the sweet aroma of heated sake 🤤.
The first aroma is the sweet aroma of warmed sake 🤤 The second aroma is a slight acidity with a beautiful sweet umami flavor.
The sweetness and umami are very good 😊.
I was impressed by how they could make such a beautiful Yamada-Nishiki sake, even though they originally tend to make more light and dry sake.
It was delicious ✨🍶.
Hi, Matsuchiyo-san. I love the idea of being able to buy Reiho from Mt. Tanzawa in quantity 😍I'm also very interested in Ayahana's micro-activated raw sake!
