Participated in an event held at the aquarium to commemorate the 160th anniversary of the founding of Tsuki no I
All-you-can-drink Tsuki no I sake while exploring the aquarium at night!
And a talk show by Ai Chino of "Kayanomi" fame!
What a gorgeous and wonderful anniversary celebration!
In addition to the regular "Tsuki no I", there will be "Wa no Tsuki", which is a pure sake made from the original brewing process, "Hikoichi", named after the founder of the brewery, and "Kayanomi", which is a sake made from the original brewing process.
12 kinds of sake to compare!
Among them, "Wanotsuki 80" was especially good when warmed up, as it was dark and delicious!
The Junmai Daiginjo of Hikoichi had a good balance of flavor and acidity!
The more we looked at the fish, sea animals, and jellyfish that were about to be served as snacks, the more excited we got, and it was a fun event where we couldn't sit back and enjoy the drinks!
The taste has a unique impression of wine made with wild yeast because no yeast is used, and the taste has a strong lactic acidity only from the sake brewing process. It has a slightly matured feel and is in a good condition just before it turns sour.
As we talked, I got a bottle of Wa no Tsuki, which I thought might be to my liking and which the store owner also liked. It is 85% polished rice and aged for 2 years. Brilliant golden color! Sake made with organic rice.
A sake with a story that will become a novel or drama called Sai no Yakusoku. (Buy it on Amazon ASAP).
Like brown sugar. 20 degrees but you don't feel it.
I like it for a closing drink.
After that, we had some heated sake to compare with the cold sake! What luxury! The sake cup served for the warmed sake is a beautiful piece of sakeware that makes the golden color of the sake stand out even more. The sake cups are beautiful and the golden color is even more pronounced.
Eighth cup. It was a brand of Tsuki no I. I realized after looking at the picture carefully that I drank too much, even though four of us drank together.

It is said to be read as "Nanotsuki.
The sake is made with organic rice, no additive yeast, and a very particular design. I guess it is called organic sake.
With an alcohol content of 20 degrees, it is recommended to be drunk on the rocks or with soda.
It has a very structured flavor, which is perhaps not surprising since it has a high alcohol content.
It has a very structured taste, which is not surprising since it has a high alcohol content.
The intensity of the taste is also a unique and interesting feature.
Dark golden color, with aromas of yogurt, cooked rice, and honeysuckle. The attack is rather strong, with a firm acidity, moderate sweetness and a rather long finish.
It's so thick! It's very robust, high in alcohol content, and the color of the liquor has a great sense of maturity.
I really can only recommend this sake to those who are a drinker.

Aged delicious and dry 🍶.
Boarding the ferry from Oarai for the first time. Before that, we purchased the sake at the store attached to the brewery, just a few minutes drive away.
Check in while the signal is still available!
The sake has a good sake yeast maturation aroma, flavor, and sharpness. It has a complex texture with a slight acidity and is solidly dry. 😋😋😋😋
2000 yen without tax!
If there is time on the way home, I would like to stop by 😊.
I was so excited to be able to stop by on my way back home! and not able to stop on the way back 🥺.
This will be my first time to drink sake from the Tsuki no Tsukii Brewery.
I got it from Wa no Tsuki 🌕️ heated 🍶.
The top aroma is sweet with a hint of grain.
In the mouth, it has a slightly unpleasant peculiarity like heated San'in sake, but the rich umami with sweetness is amazing.
If it were not for this peculiarity, I would definitely like this sake😅.
It was delicious 🍶🌕️
