I have had it, but this will be my first post on sakewa. I had an image of Kunika as light and dry, but it has a sweetness with a banana🍌 feel. It also has a melon-like melon sensation after a day. Purchased at Vinos Yamazaki in Kyoto after buying Daina at a liquor store in Saiin After this, I went back to the liquor store on the 2nd floor of the Yaichi main building and to Takimoto - Isetan 😊. I really wanted the Vinos limited edition Isoboast, but the date was a year ago, so I avoided it💦. It's also February 24 😅. I thought about how to read "kunika", "kokka", etc... but when I looked it up, it's "kokkou". Reminds me of Cocco for my generation 🤔. Drink at room temperature. It's lightly colored. Saw it in a convenience store and bought it. Low alcohol sake with 5% alcohol content I'm not a strong sake drinker, so I get a little drunk after 2-3 gos of sake, but this one looks like it won't get me drunk at all! It's like a juice! No "shwashy" feeling, sweetness comes first, then sourness. The taste does not linger so much. It tastes like sakekasu (sake lees), and it's a taste of sake. There is a slightly peculiar aroma in the nose (a little bit bitter). I wish all sake were this low in alcohol content so I could try different flavors... Serve with Gouda cheese and salmon kimchi The cheese has a peculiar aroma that disappears nicely and goes well with the sake. Kimchi may not be a good match because the taste is too strong and all you can taste is the sourness of the argos.

National Sake Fair 2025 in Osaka_70 Iwate Prefecture booth ⑤. Fukurai Shuzo is located in Kuji City. There is also a Raifuku Sake Brewery in Ibaraki Prefecture, so it looks like a mix-up. ◉Fukurai Special Junmai Fukurai is made from Ginotome sake rice. It has a soft mouthfeel, but the taste is rich and dark with a sweet umami flavor that is quite to my liking. The brewery is located in Kuji City, famous for being the location for NHK's morning TV series "Amachan".

Last night was a New Year's party with a couple I met last year. We had dinner at a nice restaurant and then went to Kokubuncho. After the fourth bar, I finally had a chance to drink sake. I have known the owner of this sake bar on the outskirts of the city for about 25 years now. The lighting doesn't look like it's the kind of place you'd enjoy sake, but don't worry about that. The selection is quite good, so go for something you've never tried before. First up is Hiryu, the one with Tatsumi Fujinami's red towel. A dry sake with a refreshing yet tasty flavor, just like Mr. Shinzawa! Thank you very much for your hospitality!
