Clouds in the Mountains Zaag Zaag Special Junmai
Rated 4.4-4.3
Sake degree -5, Rice polishing ratio: 60% (Gohyakumangoku), Alcohol: 15%.
This special junmai sake is full of fruity flavors that fly in the face of sake. The aroma of Muscat and the taste of Delaware spread like a white wine. It is surprisingly easy to drink and is recommended for sake beginners.
The yeast used, AC95-80, a yeast developed by Kochi Prefecture, is characterized by a high level of both pineapple and melon fruit aromas. It also produces a mild acidity and soft sweetness, making it possible to achieve a sake quality similar to that of white wine, which is easily liked by sake beginners and wine lovers alike. It has an excellent balance of aroma, taste, and drinkability, and goes well with aperitifs and light dishes.
Mellow and slightly melon-scented. Convergence of bitterness or stronger.
Clouds in the mountains. Zaag zaag. I bought it for the first time.
What a unique bottle & label (unusual name too 🤣) This brewery has a lot of unusual names (sounds of nature?).
AC95-80 yeast from Kochi... fruity?
Newly established in Kochi (very mountainous area?) in 2024. It seems to be a newly established sake brewery in Kochi (very mountainous area?) in 2024.
How does it taste?
When you drink it, it is sweet and sour! It's refreshing and delicious!
Fresh!
Really slight bitterness? I guess a slight bitterness comes in.
Then, as you drink it, the sourness starts to overpower the sweetness 😝 (or is it?)
On the second day, it seems gentle, soft sweet and sour, even better 😋.
Like a white wine with soft acidity 🥰.
Good morning, Mr. Takashi!
The sub name "Mr. Clouds in the Mountains"? is very interesting and unusual 🎵.
And your review is different from my impression of Kochi sake (dry and cel24) 😲.
I'm very interested in the new brewery's sake!
Good morning, ma-ki-😊.
I tried the Clouds in the Mountains. I had the impression that the zaag zaag was less sweet and more sour than CEL24. Is it refreshing because it's Gohyakumangoku? I think the others would be interesting too 😋.
Hi tomo 🐦.
I've been seeing this drink a lot at Sake no Wa and I'd like to try it more and more 😊But then again, you've suddenly got 6 kinds of sake 😳That's a lot of energy 🤣Do you want to compare them? I'm looking forward to it 😆.
Good day to you!
New today at the usual liquor store, this new girl 👀♥️
It's a Kochi sake so I have high expectations for it!
It has a strong acidity and is easy to drink!
Easy to drink!
Similar to something 🤔.
Is it Kameizumi from Kochi?
Anyway, very tasty 🥰.
But it's over 2,000 yen for a 4-pack, so it's an expensive sake in our house! 🤣
But I want to try some of the other ones they sell 🤣.
☀️
There was a sake 🍶 I've been wanting to try after seeing your post on sakéwa: ❗️
Of course, I'll have some 😋.
Sweet, tasty and slightly mineral 😚.
There is also a slightly tingling carbonation 🫧.
The ginjo aroma is also rich and enjoyable: ☺️
Kochi & Gohyakumangoku, I was surprised that it has a sweeter taste 😳.
I thought it might be too much to drink with sushi. I thought it would be too harsh to drink with sushi, but the acidity is refreshing and easy to drink with a moderate sweetness 🤗.
I think it would be good as a food sake 🤭.
Hello, Hiro😄.
Clouds in the mountains, you drank ❣️
Sounds like a slightly different taste from Zaag Zaag, which was more sour, sweet and sour and juicy 🤔.
I would enjoy Gow Gow Gow with a meal 😉.
Hi Tsubu 😃
This one was not sweet and sour, so I think it's a different taste 🙂↕️ but it's also sweet, so I guess it's a good choice for a meal 🤔 Maybe it suits you because it's sushi made by a sake lover 😆.
Slightly peculiar aroma on the nose
Slightly tangy
Sweetness is strong but does not linger, leaving a refreshing aftertaste
When served with avocado consommé, the richness of the avocado and the fruity flavor of the sake was a nice touch.
Clouds in the mountains.
I found it.
It's not like the last one.
This is not CEL24.
But it's delicious.
Light and fruity.
It's a brand to watch out for.
a great deal of knowledge

Junmai Daiginjo Zaazaa SWEET" by Kawazawa Shuzo
Junmai Daiginjo Zaa Zaa Zaa SWEET" from Yama no Kumo, a famous sake brewed in Agawa-gun, Kochi Prefecture and born in 2021.
The product name "Zaaaaaaaaa" expresses the sound of rain falling on the mountain, which is also the source of the brewing water.
The rice is made from 50% polished top-grade Yamadanishiki produced in Hyogo Prefecture. Brewed with a mutant strain of CEL-24, a yeast born in Kochi Prefecture, this junmai daiginjo-shu has a rich aroma with a sweet taste.
It can also be enjoyed by comparing it with its sibling sake "Yama ni Kumo ga Junmai Daiginjo Zaaa Zaaa".
The aroma is gorgeous and sweet, reminiscent of a pineapple with a strong yearning.
The taste is very fruity and glossy. Later, a slight fresh bitterness forms the outline of the flavor, creating a sense of exquisite balance. The finish is rich with a mellow lingering aftertaste.

Na! What is it!
What is this label?
It looks like a child's drawing!
It's a perfect jacket.
But I didn't want to miss it, so I chose the one that says SWEET.
This is the first brand name in a row.
Actually, I bought another one when I bought this one, so I'll buy the next one too (no one expects me to do so, lol).
I had no prior information about it, so I searched for it on Sake-no-wa.
I found this guy....
I heard that he is from Kameizumi!
Oh!
This is good information!
oh!
Isoamyl acetate.
AHAHAHAHH!
Oh, no!
It is so sweet that I laughed.
I actually laughed.
It is a true Kameizumiism!
However, there is a spiciness in the aftertaste.
Is it from the alcohol?
This is a sake that makes me want to drink other brands.
The label is also unique.
It is wonderful to encounter new sake!
