OSAKA SAKE & FOOD EXPO 2024 (2) Gindagawa, which I have had a cup of special honjozo or something before. Was Gintagawa sold in Niigata? I thought it was a classic type, but unlike the image on the label, the acidity was noticeable and it was a bit modern? It looks like it would go well with Western food 🍴.

It is said to be a spring sake. For a spring sake, it has a strong full-bodied flavor. The rice flavor is very effective 🌾. I thought it might be suitable for warming sake with its thick taste 🤔. On a cold day like this, I thought heated sake was the way to go, so here it is. It got a little too hot, but it was delicious after it cooled down. It smells like cedar barrels. And when it cooled down, it went right into the bottle. It's strange, it's so rich, yet it's so light. It is a great sake for less than 1,000 yen for a No. 4 bottle. The sake brewer's efforts to reduce the use of pesticides is also impressive. I bought it at a liquor store when I went out of town on a business trip. It was too good to drink, but I opened the bottle because I thought it was better to drink it before it got twitchy. We drank it cold. The first aroma is mild, citrusy, and alkali aroma. The color is clear with a slight yellow tinge. The taste starts with a slightly sharp acidity, and the nose is filled with a fluffy, mature aroma and a gradually swelling umami flavor. A slightly bitter taste lingers on the tongue and is slightly spicy. Maybe not my favorite... I think it is suitable for warming, so I tried heating it up. First trip to Nobee Yokocho this season! When heated, the acidity mellows out, the sweetness spreads as if the entire tongue is coated, the umami is more easily felt, and the acidity is calmed down. It is best when heated from about 50℃ and cooled down to lukewarm or lukewarm. I tried it when pyonpyon told me that heating it up softens the edginess, and it was perfect 😉. I bought this at AEON Liquor when I went to AEON Katsuragawa with a friend. I was looking for something unusual for the parking fee 😁. I've had Fudo before, but this is the first time I've had Niiyu. First time drinking this brand, we had it with my family 😁. I was told that it's good to drink it cold, so I made it very cold ❄️❄️ When I opened the bottle, the aroma was not so strong, probably because it was chilled... When I put it in my mouth, I could feel the coldness and the richness of the flavor. And a good amount of spiciness... It's delicious, I can drink it easily 😆😆😆.

Yesterday was the first youth baseball coaches meeting in two weeks. A big senior coach bought us some sake from Tokushima, so we had it 🙇️. My first Tokushima sake ️️! It's a dry taste, but you can feel the sweetness too👍. It's well balanced and perfect for a midday drink😍. My senior coach lives in Shikoku for work now and can't come back every week but I asked him to bring me some good sake from Shikoku🤣.
