I'd like to try heating it up next time I encounter it. excerpts from various places⬇ Iwate Honor's new brand "Okuroku" brewed by Iwate Meiken Brewery The origin of Okuroku comes from the Heian period (794-1185) when the inland area of Iwate was called the Okuroku group, the foundation of Hiraizumi's culture, and was produced in this area. The label was designed by a local printmaker. The label design is by Jun Morita, a local printmaker. The label design is based on the Kawanishi Dainenbutsu Kenbai (sword dance) by Jun Morita, a local printmaker. 100% "Kame-no-o" rice produced in Kanegasaki Town, Iwate Prefecture, The yeast used is the new Iwate Prefecture yeast "M7", It is brewed using the Yamahai brewing method and is full of the flavor of rice. It can be enjoyed cold or warmed. The gaseous and sharp taste reminds one of an adult cider, When heated, the mild sweetness of the rice will fill your mouth. Preferred ★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆ Iwate Sake no Banquet! This is less sweet than Unite (Junmai Ginjyo Namaishige Yuzuru no Kaori 50% polished) and has a more robust sake flavor. The POP says "warming up makes it swell up", so this is one to look forward to as the weather gets colder. I would like to drink it chilled to enjoy the sweet acidity, or warmed up to enjoy the full-bodied acidity with a meal! I was surprised to learn that Hitomebore, an edible rice that I am used to eating, can be made into such a delicious sake.

Preferred ★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆ Iwate Sake Banquet! From Okuroku, which we wanted to drink this time, we luxuriously compared the Lotus on the left (special junmai namaishige Hitomebore polished to 60%) and the Unite on the right (junmai ginjo namaishige Yuzu no Kou polished to 50%)! This Unite has a hint of sourness from the aroma, and I am convinced that it is my favorite type. The balance of sweet and sour (sweet at the beginning and sour later) is delicious, and it is more gorgeous than the Junmai Lotus. The higher the temperature, the sweeter it becomes, so I personally prefer to drink it cold, when I can taste the acidity as well. Thank you for the encounter!

The evening news and a drink while watching Mr. Otani's great success. UNITE, which we drank around this time last year. The moment you put it in your mouth, it has a sweetness like beckoning, and then it kicks in refreshingly like a lime. Score ☆☆☆☆ My first Okuroku ❣️ I was intrigued by the phrase "unfinished" on the back label and bought a bottle of "classical" (lol). Surprisingly low white content (90%) 😳. It has an elegant mouthfeel with a strong acidity that hits you hard 😆 but there is something peculiar about the acidity. But the acidity is somewhat peculiar 💦. Maybe it's unique to the yeast 🤔. It's been a while since I've had such a peculiar sourness, and it was easier to drink at room temperature than chilled 😊. As the temperature range rises, the sweetness and umami show their face little by little 🎶. ...but it's not my favorite sourness! I'm not a fan of classical, but I'm going to try something else 🔥. Speaking of revenge, I finally got my revenge on Monday night at the Yamaoka Restaurant \(^o^)/. My partner was out drinking, so my daughter and I asked what we should eat. My partner was away for a drink, so my daughter and I decided to go to Yamaoka-ya, which she had never been to before! We said we'd give up if it was crowded, but when we headed there, it just so happened that there were a few spaces available ‼️ Finally, we were able to eat it! Special miso on the green onion Y(´▽ `)Y Change the fat on the back Harden the noodles, the rest is normal. I had normal miso before. I was a little disappointed, but the special miso was delicious! I love it! It was delicious ❣️ I was satisfied ☺️
