It is that time of year again! This year's Mr. Summer Time was a grand presentation event, inviting circus members to the Kanmei Sake Brewery for a mini-concert of sorts. I couldn't go, though. The aroma of this year's product is a little subdued. I like that mewashi aroma, though. The mouthfeel is strong and dark, and the harmony of umami and sweetness is wonderful! It is a departure from the low-alcohol, light summer sake style, and is more like a munchy, dirty summer night. Despite the strong flavor, the sharpness of the sake is very refreshing, so it is easy to drink. Of all the summer liquors, this one is my favorite. Thank you very much for your kindness!

A drink with Hoya, rejoicing in the daily medal rush! Hmm! Am I eating nothing but sea squirts every week? No, no, no, no. Summer in Sendai is all about morning hoya! Summer sake from my favorite brewery, Kanbai! I'll have to drink it! The Kamidachi aroma is a fruity ginjo aroma, but it's moist and calm, very nice! The aroma of Kanbai's sake is so nice! It is the top of my favorite. It has a fruity sweetness, a chasing acidity, and a pleasant aroma with a sweet, sour and bitter aroma. The bitterness and the faint acidity make it a perfect beer. A true adulterous love for adults! It's so good! Thank you for the meal!

The restaurant does not seem to be a sake store, but the lineup always draws me in. This time, I ordered "SENKOURI" and this was the sake I ordered. Fresh! But almost no acidity. A gift from Sawanoizumi The Jun Dai I drank before was a Miyagi sake, beautifully light and dry, and I felt (selfishly) the earnestness of the toji (master brewer). I had an image of a modest, but firm, light, dry Kura. And then there is this special pure Sawanoizumi. It does not have much of a topping aroma, but the mouthfeel is surprisingly sweet and umami! It is sweet to the level of the Hitakami, and the robust umami is also very tasty! It has a light acidity and bitterness, followed by a refreshing sharpness. It's good! This is good! The price is relatively cheap, about 1300 yen for a four-pack, but it is convincing enough! Ishikoshi Brewery. I underestimated you. Sorry about that. Sake is so interesting because there are new discoveries even at the foot of the table like this! Thank you very much!

Honjozo 🍶 fresh stored sake✨ A good, albeit alsodense, taste. Dry aftertaste. Slightly bitter. Mild when paired with salmon. ☺️ Sweetness when paired with sea bream. It's delicious. Fourth round of drinks with Go-ni-Go-san. Amanurin Tokubetsu Junmai Sake Limited Bottle Enclosure This is also my first time to drink Mie sake! I chose only sake from Tokai region😅. This seems to be a regular sake of Amanurin! After bottling, the sake is matured slowly in the brewery. Mellow and full-flavored with a lot of umami!

The rice used is Comet from Hokkaido. You can't ignore the sake made with Hokkaido rice, can you? It has a clear and refreshing taste typical of Comet. It has a gentle acidity and a good sharpness, so you can drink it easily. It is well-balanced with a good taste of rice. I️ think it's a versatile sake that can be used in any situation. I have drunk Tenyurin many times, but I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not.

New Year's sake (2) - Women's tears When I went back to my parents' house, my father bought this sake. It seemed to be a recommendation from Aoki Shoten. With all due respect, I had never heard of this sake and it was unknown to me. When I opened the bottle, there was not much aroma. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the sweetness and gradually start to feel the alcohol, and it ends up being dry. From the naming, you would expect it to be intensely dry. It is easy to drink. There are still many sake that I do not know about, and sake is very deep.

Another bottle was opened at the Kizuna Festival. Golden crystal that saw the light of day at Izakaya Shinkansen. Gold Crystal label expressed with a characteristic figure. It is one of my personal favorite labels. The top-tasting aroma has a very classical sake flavor. The mouthfeel has a light umami from a hint of sweetness. First contact is lighter than expected. The finish is again full of sake-like aftertaste, with a mild acidity and a strong bitterness. I had imagined it to be a more mellow and stand-alone sake, but it is considered to be a high performance food sake. During the festival, I served it with tempura and dried scallops that I bought and brought with me, and it was quite good! Thanks for the food!

Tonight I'm having this one 🍶. I got this on my trip to Fukushima last month! I've been wanting to drink this since I saw it on Izakaya Shinkansen 🍶✨. They are the only sake brewery in Fukushima city😃. Mellow, refreshing, oicy❕. The aroma is slightly fluffy 💠. Slightly crisp but still mild 🌸🍶✨. This is a great one ❕. I'm glad I found you 😆. I also love the fukushima saké💗. It's very tasty.

Sangu is the first time in about 2 years of sales. It has a solid body with the power of Aizan, but it feels lighter than the last time I drank it. It also seems a little sweeter... Kansai Sake-no-wa Year-End Party 2024⑦ Sake brought by me. According to bouken-san's information, the brewer of this sake brewery in Mie passed away suddenly and Sawasa Shuzo went out of business. The information is only based on fragments of information, and there is no proof. Currently, the website remains, but the online store is closed. I'm thinking of having a series of "can't-drink-twice" sake for the annual off-line meeting, but other people also brought a lot of "can't-drink-twice" sake 🤣. Sangu INPREVUE Anprevue Junmai Ginjo Sake - 40 degrees, slightly fruity, a mix of rich sweetness as well as rich sourness, not like a noble wine or ice wine where the sweetness stands out, but a rich sweet and sour taste. I thought this was delicious and interesting, but it's a shame we won't be able to drink this kind of alcohol anymore 😭 Thank you Sawasa Sake Brewery for the treat 🙏.

This is the first time I've seen this warehouse. The rice used is Maikaze. As the name suggests, everything, including the yeast, is from Gunma, and it seems to be an annual event. The mouthfeel is mild. It is bitter-sweet with a slight banana aroma. It gently finishes with a hint of umami. It seems to have a lot of depth. Well-balanced and cohesive sake. After a few drinks, it was quite late, so I headed home while eating a golden dharma bento commemorating the 140th anniversary of Takasaki Station. I will close my Gunma trip with "Akagisan" and "Funao Taki"! Sweet and sugary aroma like sugar. The taste is smooth and silky, and while it has a Gunma sake-like quality, it tastes more like a sweet sake derived from brewer's alcohol. There is nothing outstanding about it, but it is a perfect match for ekiben (boxed lunches), with its unobtrusiveness, slight sweetness, and crispness!

Kansai Salmon Ware year-end party⑳⑳ We said goodbye to Umaisan, Maru, Rutemi, pyonpyo and Robin and went to the 3rd party. Mr. Muchi helped us to find a restaurant for the after-party too. I remember it was pretty fruity and refreshing. We also drank Niiyu's dry sake and Toyo Bijin's straight kumi, which is not on the menu 😋. I always listen to kan's 🐴 stories: 👂️ Mother and father are important 🐎. Jive-san had to leave on the way because his train time came 🙋. Finally, Nemuchi and I had ramen at Ramen Nigamushi Chicken before heading home 😋. I've never had ramen before and it was delicious 🍜. Aochan who went missing also went to another ramen restaurant 😁. I lost the sake that Jive gave me, so I went back to the after-party later, but it's a secret 🤫. Thank you very much to Gyumu-san who always organizes off-line meetings, and to everyone who participated 🙇.
