Nabari City, Mie Prefecture. Sawa Sake Brewing Company.
Sangu Special Junmai Sake Tsukiyomi
Sangu" which seems not to be drinkable any more. It was too good to drink, but I opened the bottle because I thought it was better to drink it before it got twitchy.
We drank it cold.
The first aroma is mild, citrusy, and alkali aroma.
The color is clear with a slight yellow tinge.
The taste starts with a slightly sharp acidity, and the nose is filled with a fluffy, mature aroma and a gradually swelling umami flavor.
A slightly bitter taste lingers on the tongue and is slightly spicy.
Maybe not my favorite...
I think it is suitable for warming, so I tried heating it up.
First trip to Nobee Yokocho this season!
When heated, the acidity mellows out, the sweetness spreads as if the entire tongue is coated, the umami is more easily felt, and the acidity is calmed down.
It is best when heated from about 50℃ and cooled down to lukewarm or lukewarm.
I tried it when pyonpyon told me that heating it up softens the edginess, and it was perfect 😉.
Heating up is a very deep process 🙄.

The Year-End Party of the Kansai Branch of Sake-no-wa (7)
Nemuchi-san brought this sake.
I had never heard of this brand before 😰.
It tasted like white wine👌.
Thanks, Nemuchi-san 😁.
Kansai Sake-no-wa Year-End Party 2024⑦
Sake brought by me.
According to bouken-san's information, the brewer of this sake brewery in Mie passed away suddenly and Sawasa Shuzo went out of business. The information is only based on fragments of information, and there is no proof.
Currently, the website remains, but the online store is closed.
I'm thinking of having a series of "can't-drink-twice" sake for the annual off-line meeting, but other people also brought a lot of "can't-drink-twice" sake 🤣.
Sangu INPREVUE Anprevue Junmai Ginjo
Sake - 40 degrees, slightly fruity, a mix of rich sweetness as well as rich sourness, not like a noble wine or ice wine where the sweetness stands out, but a rich sweet and sour taste.
I thought this was delicious and interesting, but it's a shame we won't be able to drink this kind of alcohol anymore 😭
Thank you Sawasa Sake Brewery for the treat 🙏.
Nemuchi, I hope you had a good time at the year-end party! Thanks for opening the bottle as well😊.
I'm so sorry to hear that you went out of business for that reason 😢I'm so sorry to lose this taste 😭.
Thanks for the precious sake 🙏.
Thanks for the year-end party, Pon-chan 😊It was a lot of fun just to serve sake 😁If we have common interests, we can get together just to get together 👍The sake industry is tough, but I hope the registration as an intangible cultural asset will help to revitalize the industry 😊.
Sake-no-wa Kansai Off-line Meeting A Year-End Party 6
Next, Nemuchi-san brought a bottle 🍶.
Nemuchi-san's concept was a series of bottles that he can never drink again 😲.
Sangu Junmai Ginjo IMPREVUE Anprevue
Aroma like lactic acid bacteria, smooth sweetness on the palate with a sharp acidity and a refreshing aftertaste.
Sake degree -40, but it was not all sweetness, it was a strange taste with sourness 🤔.
I didn't know this, but the brewery has recently closed and "Sangu" can no longer be drunk unless it is revived 😢.
Thank you Nemuchi for the precious sake 🙇.
Thanks for the treat ✨
Good evening, Gyve 😃.
[I can't drink again] series! It's one of the best because it's an offline meeting of the sake world where you know the fundamentals of alcohol so well 😌 Anpreva is also kind of cute and -40 wonder girl? I wish I could drink it😙.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 🌛.
Sorry for the delay in replying to your comment 🙇.
I'm not sure what will happen to the warehouse in the future as the information is a bit mixed up, but I hope it will continue somehow 💦.
Kansai Salmon Roe Bring and Share Year-End Party (7)
Sake brought by Nemuchi-san.
Like last year's LAPIS from Hankai Train, it's a series of drinks he can never drink again.
He seemed a little disappointed because there were other sake such as Yumemizuho and Premium Gold that he could never drink again 😁.
I don't have an official source, only X's personal account, but I heard that Sawasa Sake Brewery in Sangu is out of business 😢.
I heard that the brewer passed away in the summer at a liquor store, but at the time I heard they were going to continue...
Sake level -40😳
Wine-like and lactic acid. Dark sweetness. A little sour and gassy.
Sad that I can't drink it anymore😢.
I like it a lot, it's delicious, almost no sake-like taste, apple-plum type sourness, sweet but not as sweet as the sake degree suggests, similar impression to Yonotori.
It is the second souvenir bottle, but I drank it.
It has a sake-like beginning, followed by a white wine-like acidity.
It would be an interesting souvenir for those who like wine to know that there is such a thing as sake.
Purchased at the same store as Zanshin.
I couldn't find it in the fridge, so I asked if they had any Sangu. I asked if they had any Sangu in the fridge, and out of the case in front of the cash register came Omachi and Aizan.
It was my fault for not checking properly, but I said I would buy Aiyama and I paid for Aiyama, but when I got home and took it out, it was Yumachi😅.
The first part of the bottle has the sweetness of Omachi and the umami of rice.
It has 15% Ihyakumangoku in it though 😁.
It has a unique powdery flavor. I can understand why it says it can be warmed up.
I wish it was raw.
Refreshing sweet and sour, grapey aroma.
Rich flavor from the moment you put it in your mouth.
Mellow sweetness, richness and astringency, tastes like ripe melon.
The lingering finish is thin but long, a little pungent but very enjoyable.
Rice: 80% Omachi from Okayama Prefecture, 20% Gohyakumangoku from Toyama Prefecture
Polishing ratio: 60
Sake meter: +1
Acidity: 1.8
Alc.: 16%.
I went to Tsu city in Mie prefecture on a business trip. I didn't know that Tsu City is famous for eels 😅I had no idea that Tsu City is famous for eels, so I decided to try some sake from Mie Prefecture. I had Saku, Takihama, and Gizaemon, but I don't have any photos, so I'll just post this one.
This one has a sake degree of -40 degrees.
Sweet 😆 but for some reason it was easy to drink and delicious. ☺️
Hi there, studying 😃.
I'm a student......minus yonjyu...! ...minus yonjyu 😳that would be a bit too much 😅but I would love to have a drink outside 🤗I like to travel to a sake place for fun 😁.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 🌇 It was too sweet, but as you said, thanks to drinking outside, I could drink it as a food sake. It tasted almost like plum wine 😄 There was a liquor store in front of the station and I enjoyed stocking up on souvenirs 😊.
