Last week I visited Dewano-Fuji at Hankyu Department Store, but I went to Umemoto Sake-ten in Nishinakajima because I thought I could find more variety at a special distributor. (Note that they have moved from the location shown on the map of Sake-no-wa, and they have a corner bar inside after 4:00 p.m.) I was a bit lost, so I asked the waitress and she let me try a sample. Melon-like fruity sweet taste. Slightly refreshing? It was delicious, but Junmai Arabashiri seemed rarer, so I bought that one 😊.

The beautiful kaleidoscope-like label is impressive. The taste is sweet with a hint of bitterness at the end. It is refreshing and crisp, but the screw was unusually hard to open, so I think it should be improved. The Junmai Unfiltered Nama-jyu I drank at the end of the year was cheaper and much tastier. I don't know if it's because they use Miyamanishiki, but it tastes a little like the Jokigen I had the other day. A bit 🍇ish.

Natsuta Fuyuzo works in the rice paddies in summer and in the warehouse in winter. This is my first time to try the KAME-NO-IO sake rice. 😃 It was very elegant, with a deep and delicate flavor. Plus, the mouthfeel is crisp and refreshing at the end of the drink 🙂 I paired it with grilled fish and it goes well😇. It's a lost one in my book 👍

Tonight, our first series of impactful jackets here 💁. It's Taxi Driver🚕🚕🚕🚕. It was shipped from the brewery in April this year, but what a H30BY (R0BY) and it's a 5 year aged sake 😆. The aroma of old sake, which also smells like Shaoxing wine, is in full swing from the moment the bottle is opened 🤣. It was served cold, but it is easy to drink because of its acidity. It would be good to drink it warmed up in the fall. ☺️ I wonder if it would go well with Chinese food since it has a Shaoxing sake-like flavor, and I'm going to research how to drink it based on other sakewa reviewers 💪. But it's a very intoxicating drink so I'll stop after one cup 😓.

First drink. Weak fruity feeling that I didn't imagine from the label that has impact. But it is also full. There is a miscellaneous taste (my personal feeling) like the Yamahai brewing style with low rice polishing, but it is a moderate level, so I feel it is unique. It has just the right amount of sweetness to satisfy my preference for sweetness. I enjoyed it with a plate of delicious sashimi (´ω).

bamboo shoots boiled, sliced, fermented, dried or preserved in salt, then soaked in hot water and sea salt 14 Junmai Juju-kirekuchi Yellow in color. When cooled, it has a habit of lactic acidity and aged aroma. Warmed. The nose has a woody, savory aroma. It has a fruity and gentle sweetness as well as a sense of rice. A little sour. Numb, sharp and delicious. 15 Chouji Junmai Ginjo Kinmon Nishiki Ajiginjo Slightly pear aroma. Ume. Soft, subtle sweetness and a refreshing citrus-like feeling. A little bitterness at the end. It has been a year since it was made, but I think it's good. The sake is named "Shigetu" after the sake brewer Takeshige and the toji Shigeta. The toji explained this to us when he opened the brewery in the past. SAKE Country Tourism Achievement Prizes. The third prize is from the Takeju Sake Brewery in Saku. It is one of my personal favorite sake breweries. The second batch of sake still remains, so the pressure in the refrigerator was tremendous. The following will be posted separately. I've been curious about this one from Watanabe Shuzo in Kyokko for a while! I'll make love to you! Slightly yellow color 😌. This is the wrong brand it’s from Tochigi from Hokkan. The cheapest sake in Donquixote in Bangkok and so very smooth and balanced at medium chill. It’s actually very close to water.

A bowl of oden at an oden shop in Shizuoka Station. I had no idea about this brand. The best part of traveling is being able to drink this kind of local sake with local food 😆. A little sweet and full, with a clean dry finish. It is not flashy, but there is no alcohol feeling that lingers in the throat and it is very smooth to drink 😄. It goes great with Shizuoka oden, which is a thick, dark broth with fishmeal, and if we weren't on a family trip, we would be drinking it endlessly 😅.... Also, I had a local B gourmet dish called "Motsuru Curry" for the first time, which was also very tasty👍👍!

Junmai one-cup of Koyoromo. This is the first time to drink Koyoromo. It is an orthodox Junmai sake, not heavy and refreshing, but it also has a hidden luster. I see that the brewery makes all of its sake from junmai sake. The label is Hiroshige's 53 Stages of the Tokaido, Nisaka.
