It's been a while since I drank outside lol What a surprise! Chichi Haruei came all the way to Akita✨ Eririn also joined us from the next prefecture. Thank you both so much 😊. I bought a bottle of Kihei's Omachi, a sake made by the Shizuoka brewery, expecting to like it as much as I liked the gorgeous Omachi. It was not what I had imagined, it was more like a classic Shizuoka sake. It is very light and dry.

This year, the rice used for the sake has been replaced by 2038 Honorific Fuji, and the label has been redesigned. When you drink it, there is a distinct sweetness at first, but the bitterness comes later and disappears. It has a sweet taste, but it is dry. This is the first time I've tried the kanji version of Mimuro, but it's calmer than the hiragana version, not too sweet and not too spicy.
