I went to Penguin Village, which I had always been curious about. The sign says Kikusui, but I was surprised to find a variety of good sake! The food is delicious and reasonably priced! Junmai Namaizume Harazake from Jange! It has a clean, dry taste with a strong umami flavor, and is easy to drink even at the high alcohol content of the original sake! It goes well with sashimi, but also with satsuma-age (fried fish cake), a souvenir of Shizuoka, from an old man who was drinking at the counter!

The eighth sake rice research bottle is Yumesansui, a trad variety from Aichi. It has a solid image, but the aroma is citrusy. Freshness of new sake, slightly effervescent and drier than sweet. Very tasty.

It's been a while since I've had a normal Akagisan! I love the refreshing taste of summer, but the crisp and dry taste during the cold winter months is also very refreshing and special ✨. Almost no aroma 🤔In the mouth, it is fire-brewed but the sensation of freshness fills the mouth. It's a good combination of matured and fresh 😚😊Mellow and calm with a good umami and a crisp acidity 😋. I don't know if it is suitable for today's suddenly cooler weather, but it was delicious . I don't know, but it was delicious 🥳.

The last of the Ohigan parties was the first Kamizenjosui in a long time. I had an image of a more Showa-esque sake, but to my surprise, it really looked like water. It went well with a wide range of foods such as sashimi and Costco high rollers. In other words, it doesn't get in the way. It made me rethink my opinion a little bit. I think I need to update my taste buds by choosing something that doesn't look like a local sake sometimes.

Last night was a New Year's party with a couple I met last year. We had dinner at a nice restaurant and then went to Kokubuncho. After the fourth bar, I finally had a chance to drink sake. I have known the owner of this sake bar on the outskirts of the city for about 25 years now. The lighting doesn't look like it's the kind of place you'd enjoy sake, but don't worry about that. The selection is quite good, so go for something you've never tried before. First up is Hiryu, the one with Tatsumi Fujinami's red towel. A dry sake with a refreshing yet tasty flavor, just like Mr. Shinzawa! Thank you very much for your hospitality!

We ordered at Benkei no weibasho, an izakaya near Niigata Station. This restaurant is operated by a local conveyor-belt sushi chain, and we were informed that their seafood dishes are sure to be good, so we made a reservation and visited. I was curious about this sake at Ponshukan, where I had wandered around during lunch. Niigata is known for its dry sake, but this one is quite fruity. It is not too sweet, so it goes well with sashimi. I mean, too much throat groyne!

Maryo Yamahai Junmai GON Rice：Gohyakumangoku, etc. Rice Polishing Ratio: 65 Alcohol content: 15 We were lured by the comment of the brewer's challenge hidden sake and brought it to you. What is it? It has a light smoky aroma, just like Kenpachi. We ended up drinking it cold, but it was recommended to be served lukewarm. It suddenly got cold yesterday. At home. The third Nara sake without permission - ‼️. Kita Sake Brewery is located in Gobo-cho, Kashihara City and was founded in 1718. My son used to play baseball and we used to go to Sato Yakuhin Stadium near here. This is the first time for us to visit there. The aroma is not so strong, but there is a slight sweetness and alcohol. When you put it in your mouth, you can taste the sweetness, sourness, dryness, and the gradual feeling of alcohol. Oh, is this the ultimate in dryness? For now, I will only taste it tonight and wait for tomorrow to see how it changes. There was almost no change in taste after the second day. It is dry, but it has a sweet taste and is not unacceptable.

Miyogiku is a sake brewery located near Kashihara Shrine. I bought a Junmai sake and this Honjozo sake. It has a very high density of flavor and richness even in hiya, and the acidity is enough to go well with the drinks! It is also very well balanced in terms of both comfort and drinkability! It is even better when heated! This is wonderful! I bought a small bottle the day before because I had to buy a lot of things at Ise Jingu Shrine, but I want to buy another 4 bottles! Before going to the Kashihara Shrine, we went around the tombs around the shrine, and especially the Unebiyama Northeast Mausoleum was amazing! It was scary! Furthermore, although I must have been to Kashihara Shrine when I was a child, it looks bigger than the image I had when I was a child. Normally it should look smaller than it did when I was a child, but it was the opposite. I guess I felt the greatness of Kashihara Shrine.
