I wanted to drink some Manjusen, so I went to a local liquor store.
There was a hiya-otoshi (cold sake) on sale, so I bought it.
It is a popular sake in Toyama Prefecture.
I also bought some Haneya. I will post this one another time.
I have been consciously buying more Hokuriku sake recently.
I opened the bottle as soon as I got home.
The first sip revealed the umami and crispness that is typical of Mansyuusen. It is a dry sake that goes well with soy milk hot pot.
By the way, Toyama Prefecture's sake is of a very high level.
I often see Gohyakumangoku produced in Toyama Prefecture, and I wonder if the water is good.
I thought I should learn a little about Toyama Prefecture 🤓.
