After 3 years of not being able to get it, I finally got it last year. I hesitated to open the bottle again, and now it is at this time of the year. She is a very tomboyish girl, and it was the most difficult sake to open this season (it took me 15 minutes...). It is such a gassy sake, but the sweetness is very impressive. The gentle apple aroma is also very nice. After the sweetness, a mild sourness arrives. The umami comes right after the acidity and finishes with a very happy feeling. It was worth the wait. Best & High ‼️ I used up all my points (200) for this one and missed out on the Christmas No. 6 (300), so I'm going to plan ahead and get both of them this year!

I opened the bottle a little after noon, and while I was drunk and out of it, I heard an emergency earthquake alarm. I sobered up at once by confirming the situation in my hometown of Hokuriku and the safety of my parents who live there. The damage in my hometown does not seem to be too serious, and both my parents are safe. I pray from the bottom of my heart for the safety of everyone affected by this cold winter. This No. 6 is one that I bought almost a year ago, but had failed to open. The aroma is just a little bit aged, but it has a nice scent of citrus and lactic acid. Surprisingly, the gasiness was still there. The sweetness is mild and the acidity is quite strong. After a quick kick, a gentle sweetness lingers in the aftertaste. It has been a long time since I had tasted No. 6, but I think it tastes even better when drunk before its expiration date. If only I could find the courage to open it.

Of the first tank of Sentori, I had had Nakadori before, but somehow I had the feeling that the arabashiri would sell out quickly, so I secured the arabashiri early this year. Surprisingly, it has a fruity aroma, which is rare for Sentori. Melon and lychee-like impression. The gasiness is so-so. The balance between sweetness and acidity is excellent. Today is the third day, and it is getting better and better. The sweetness and acidity finish pleasantly, and the wine finishes with a light bitterness. It was a bit hard on the first day, but after a little while, it came together very well and has a super nice balance. I will probably buy it again next year!

Good morning, disry😃! Sentori's first tank series! They are delicious 😋. We took the plunge and bought 3 bottles together 🤗It seems this year's release is the last as it will be renewed next year 🥲.

Nigo-1 Grand Prix (I'm watching the Loser's Revival!) The bottle was opened with Hirotogawa, a candidate for the winner of the The aroma is elegant. It is not strong or distinctive, but it is very gentle, gentle and refined. The gasiness is of course strong. The sweetness is mild and the acidity is strong. The acidity, however, is quickly quenched. I would like to call it elegant rather than refreshing. In the second half, the sweetness of the oli comes in with a bang, and it ends smoothly, without bitterness. I can only say that it is a masterpiece. It is a rare brand that can be opened with the assurance that it is absolutely delicious. Thank you for another great year.

This is the first Koei Chrysanthemum of the season. The store advised me to wait about three days after opening it to let the flavor develop. So, here we are on the first day. Indeed, the impression is tight and dry. The aroma is slightly muscat. The sweetness is slightly more pronounced than the acidity. Toward the end, the umami flavor arrives. Five days later... I don't remember the first day, but the sweetness has increased. I also feel that bitterness has been added, and the complexity has increased. As it approaches room temperature and the gas is released, the acidity mysteriously increases. I think I like it because it has a citrusy feeling, like Koei chrysanthemum when it first came out. I was satisfied with this year's first bottle. The alcohol content changes every year, but it is getting higher and higher, so I personally wish they would reduce the alcohol content to 13 or even 12 degrees.

Since Sentori and UA started collaborating, I couldn't get just the snowman, but I got it for the first time this year. (Thanks for your concern, Mr. M.) I was a little apprehensive about opening it because I hadn't seen good reviews about it in advance, but my fears turned out to be unfounded! The aroma is a mild muscat aroma. The gasiness is so strong that I almost blew out the bottle when I opened it. The sweetness is stronger than the normal Snowman. The sweetness is quite nice, but not clingy. The acidity that follows is mild. The acidity is followed by a sweet flavor, finishing with a happy sweet and sour flavor in the mouth. It is totally delicious! I prefer the UA version to the normal one. I am glad I bought it!

This year's Sharaku Oorigarami, the first one. I wonder how it will be this year. The aroma is more citrusy. The melon flavor is weak. The gasiness is weak. Sweetness is mild. Sourness is strong this year. After the acidity, there is a strong alcohol taste and bitterness. It is quite a sensation. Perhaps it is because I have been drinking sake of around 13 degrees recently, but I felt a strong impact. It has a roughness that is typical of nama-shu. It is best to drink it at a much lower temperature.

The refrigerator is overflowing with new sake and wine.... We first chose a craft saké that was light and could be opened quickly. This is my first attempt at haccoba. This time, I was intrigued by the gin distillation lees and juniper berries used as secondary ingredients. The aroma is exactly like gin itself. Unfortunately, the gassiness was not as strong as I had expected. It is quite sweet. Maybe that's why I feel like I'm drinking a gin and tonic. This is not good. The acidity and bitterness (also like gin) continue to the finish. It was very tasty. I recommend it to gin lovers. If it had more gas, it would be a gin and tonic itself!

This year, too, M-kun bought me a bottle of Banshu Ikkyo nigori. Thanks again. Although it is called "nigori", it is nigori. The aroma is melon and citrus. The aroma is much better than last year. The gassiness is quite strong. The sweetness is exquisite, neither too strong nor too weak. The acidity that follows is citrusy and refreshing. The acidity continues smoothly, and the aftertaste slowly fades away. This is excellent. The new sake season has just started, and this is one of the best. This year, the alcohol content has been lowered to 14 degrees, which makes it very easy to drink and tastes great. The glass was tipping and tipping!

Again, I opened a bottle of nigori. I had a bottle of Kangiku nigori last year, but I don't remember much about it, so I bought it again this year as a reconfirmation. The aroma is surprisingly refreshing, with a weak lactic acidity. The rice feeling is not strong and it is easy to drink. The gassiness is very weak, maybe because of the venting holes...too bad. Strong sweetness. The sweetness stands out more than the sourness that follows. The sweetness is more pronounced than the sourness that follows. A light bitterness arrives in the aftertaste. I think the reason I was less impressed last year is because I didn't like it so much, but in fact, the result may be the same this year.... If it had a solid gasiness, it would have balanced the sweetness and acidity a bit more. Looking forward to next year!

Well, I thought, "I'm going to open another nigori today," and poured it out. It was clear sake... I got myself back on track... The aroma was of aromatic muscat and lactic acidity. This is good. The gaseousness is so-so. The sweetness is not strong, quite crisp. The acidity is stronger than I expected, and it's crisp and tight. The acidity is followed by a slight astringency at the end. Very refreshing. Yoshida Kurau's impression is a little weak? Thin? But that impression has been overturned! It has a solid flavor, but as usual, it is refreshing and clean. This sake is of a very high level.

Following the previous snowman, this is another niggly snow woman. The niggles are likely to continue for the time being. To be honest, I had the impression that the last few years' Yuki-Onna had a bit of a harsh taste, so much so that I hesitated to buy it this time. But this time, it exceeded my expectations! The aroma is muscat, citrus, lactic acid, and a nice rice aroma. Perfect. The gasiness is strong. Cute sweetness. Not too harsh, but mellow sweetness. Then, a strong acidity. Sometimes this acidity can be harsh, but this time it was exquisite. After the acidity, the umami comes in a big rush, and it lingers with a pleasant sweetness. The snowman was a bit subdued, so the character of the snow woman stands out. That said, it is not too flashy, easy to drink, and delicious! At this point, this is the tentative top of this season's list!

Last week I was unable to drink much alcohol due to a flu outbreak in my household. I finally got better, so I opened a bottle of this year's Snowman without hesitation. The aroma is a subdued muscat. This year's sake is a bit crisp. The gasiness is a bit gassy. Gentle sweetness. This is nigori sake. The acidity is not as strong as expected. Toward the end, the acidity rises and the aftertaste is beautiful. Of course, it was delicious this year, too. It seemed drier than last year. This year, I recommend it for during dinner.

I bought it based on its reputation at Sake no Wa. It has been a very long time since I have had much contact with Takachiyo. The scent is quite mild. I've seen grefle fragrances before, but it's more like melon. A little gassy. The sweetness of the rice cake is soft and pleasant. I heard that it has a strong acidity, but it is not so strong. The finish is full of umami and bitterness. There is not much of an unpleasant aftertaste. It was not that flashy, not too sweet, not too spicy, just right. It was more suited for mid-meal than I expected.

I walked in by chance and unexpectedly got a jishin. Since the end of the Corona disaster, cases like this have almost disappeared. The aroma is fresh lychee. Maybe it's my imagination, but I feel a little gas. The sweetness is moderate, or rather refreshing. The acidity is crisp and strong, but short and sharp. It finishes with a bitterness that is not too strong. So, this is what it means to be free of bitterness. As expected of Jikin-sama, refinement! It is fruity, refreshing, and sharp. Fruity, refreshing, and sharp. I wonder when I will be able to find it again...

The season of illuminated chrysanthemums has come. This year, too, we chose orikagami. Oh, it has a nice aroma of lactic acid, pear-like, and fluffy. The aroma and gasiness are not too strong and pleasant. The sweetness is predominant, but it is short-lived and quickly changes to sourness. After the acidity, a gentle bitterness is added, again with a pleasant finish. As one would expect from Densho-Kiku. In the past few years, there has never been an outlier, making it a super stable brand. Finally, the new sake season has begun!

First anniversary of Ikebukuro Seibu's sake dealer Yamada? It's a limited edition sake. It may be rare, since it seems to have hardly been posted on Sake-no-Wawa. The aroma is fresh banana. Quite crisp. Mochi, shwashwa. Quite dry. There is almost no sweetness, and the acidity is not too strong and refreshing. The acidity quickly evaporates, and there is no bitterness, but a pleasant aftertaste. It is easy to drink, so it goes down smoothly, but I realized halfway through that it is actually a very elegant sake. It looks like something you would find at a high-class sushi restaurant, was the impression of a conveyor belt sushi expert (myself).

I am happy to see that the number of Hanayuup has been increasing to 4-gou bottles before long. Finally, I tried my second Hanayuup. The last time I tried Rikuwada's shigou-bottle, I remember it being sweet, but I'm not so sure this time. Yes, it was sweet. The aroma is apple-like and capricious. The aroma is not that sweet. When you drink it, the sweetness arrives. There is a slight sourness. However, the sweetness is not too strong, and the bitter taste tightens up the finish. Just as I imagined, it is a sweet and bitter one. It is not my favorite, but I thought it was great that they made me drink it all the way through to the end.

Shinsei has been around for a very long time. I saved up my points and got it at Kagataya's point reduction festival. The aroma is mild muscat and citrus. Slightly gassy. At any rate, this sake has the best acidity. This is the most delicious sour sake in recent months. Sourness lovers will not be able to resist. The great thing is that the sourness is not unpleasant, but it quickly goes away. It finishes with an astringent taste. Shinsei is really delicious. I would like to drink it every day, but the actual frequency is about once every 6 months.... I need to save up my points!

A gift from my colleague, M. Thank you for everything! I'm glad it's been a while since I've had a Jikin! What a nice aroma. More like a flower than fruity. I like the capsicum type too. Both sweetness and sourness are not that strong, but the taste is very impressive. The acidity quickly snaps and finishes with a slight bitterness. The aftertaste is short. Very sophisticated. Wow, Jikin-san is amazing. It's so good that I want to add "san" to the name. Please give it to me again!
