Last week I was unable to drink much alcohol due to a flu outbreak in my household. I finally got better, so I opened a bottle of this year's Snowman without hesitation.
The aroma is a subdued muscat. This year's sake is a bit crisp. The gasiness is a bit gassy.
Gentle sweetness. This is nigori sake. The acidity is not as strong as expected.
Toward the end, the acidity rises and the aftertaste is beautiful.
Of course, it was delicious this year, too. It seemed drier than last year. This year, I recommend it for during dinner.
