I bought it based on its reputation at Sake no Wa. It has been a very long time since I have had much contact with Takachiyo.
The scent is quite mild. I've seen grefle fragrances before, but it's more like melon. A little gassy.
The sweetness of the rice cake is soft and pleasant. I heard that it has a strong acidity, but it is not so strong.
The finish is full of umami and bitterness. There is not much of an unpleasant aftertaste.
It was not that flashy, not too sweet, not too spicy, just right. It was more suited for mid-meal than I expected.
