I have been having an unusual connection with Azuma Tsuru lately, even though I did not choose it for its brand name. I think it goes exceptionally well with fermented foods and soy sauce. I miss Kyushu soy sauce.
I keep drinking summer sake. The name and label are cute. It was light in flavor and drank like a sparkling wine. I felt the sweetness at the kinky stage, but as it approached room temperature, the aroma of rice became stronger and both were delicious~!
I have a lot of fruit at home, so I bought some that looked like they would go well together at a quick glance. In a sense, I bought it on the spot. It was surprisingly dry, so I thought it would go well with a mealtime drink. Maybe I'll play some Southern music later.
The balance of flavors other than sweetness is very good. I would like to drink it crisp and chilled. I think it goes well with cream cheese, miso, fruit, olive oil, and sashimi. I drank it with Chinese food, and it is also very good.
I was going to buy a summer sake, but I strongly wanted to drink a deep-flavored sake cold and cool, so I chose Miyazumi. It was as good as I expected and I opened it right away.
This is the sake that got me hooked on sake, and when I went on a trip to Nagano after my first Corona suspension in 2020, I bought a bottle of Shinshu Kamerei as a souvenir.
I had been drinking only beer and shochu up until then and had never heard of sake, so I was very shocked and was fascinated by the taste and the different characteristics of sake.
When I was in Ueda the other day, I was strolling around a sake brewery and was surprised to find that the store was owned by the Okazaki Sake Brewery. I was surprised to find it was Okazaki Sake Brewery.
Needless to say, the sake I bought was delicious. It was just delicious, easy to drink, and irresistible.
Good morning, Sake Taro 😃.
Shinshu Kamerei! I can see why you are addicted to it 😌.
But with so many residents of the sake world gathering from far and wide to visit Mr. Okazaki 😅 it's really a great connection to have a stroll around 😅 ‼️
Jay & Nobby.
It was a sake that I remember, so I was kind of happy when I stumbled across it lol.
It's getting harder and harder to find, and now I want to revisit Ueda for Okazaki Sake Brewery. 🙂↕️
Suddenly it got cold, so I wanted to drink a cup of sake that was not cold. I chose a cup of sake that I remembered drinking in Nagoya. It was just what I was looking for. I paired it with Chinese food.
A liquor store in my neighborhood had a Tokushima sake, which I bought because I thought it was unusual. It has a rather strange taste. It has a deep, fermented flavor with little acidity or bitterness. I think it would go well with calamari, pickles, and washed cheese. Interesting.
I went home and had another bottle. It has a refreshing taste, but also has depth. I think it goes well with a meal, especially a hot meal, but it is also good on its own.
Since we are staying at Bessho Onsen, we had a sake from Ueda. It is super dry, or rather, it is as refreshing as water. It went well with the Nanbanzuke.
I got a bottle of sake that my family had bought. It is a dry, refreshing sake that is perfect for a meal. It's delicious and has no artificial flavors.
I bought it as a Niigata souvenir for myself, but I didn't drink enough in town, so I opened it in the car on the way home.
It is a delicious sake with a nice aroma of rice, and I am sure it would have been delicious heated up.
Sweet! And apple! Green apple flavor might be the right word. I think it would be better with Western food than Japanese food, and I think it would also be good with sweets.
Lentil cup liquor. Rich. The aroma of rice is strong, so not only snacks that go well with rice, but also western style food would be good. I paired it with blue cheese.
This is the second cup of sake. It's quite refreshing but not spicy, so it's easy to drink. If I had to choose a safe sake, this would be one of the top five.
I bought a variety of sake cups at a local liquor store that carries a lot of sake cups. The flavor is not outlandish but surprisingly unusual and seems to go well with food. It is not too sweet, but not too spicy either, just a little bitter and very well balanced.
I like Hokuriku sake, but surprisingly this is my first time to try Toyama sake?
It has a distinct sweetness and umami, and is very tasty.
I think it would go well with a meal and is also outstanding on its own.
