Today we went out for a drink for the first time in a very long time! We went to SAKARAKU in Takadanobaba. I couldn't believe it when I realized that I hadn't been here for two months. I finally couldn't fill up my stamp card by the due date. Anyway, let's drink. Hakurakusei Special Junmai New Sake. It's the first one! My gold card had expired, so I had to pay for it, but I was very happy. Hakurakusei is originally a light and refreshing sake, but since it is a new sake, it is even fresher than usual. It has probably been almost half a year since its release, but it still retains this freshness. You can see the management skills of SAKARAKUSAI and the liquor store.

Kangiku Ocean99 Hoshikai Comet 50 Unfiltered Nama-shu Junmai Daiginjo. Kangiku's Ocean series has become a very popular sake. Until a few years ago, it was a sake that was only known to those in the know. It is sweet and sour, but at the same time it has a nice astringent taste. It has a good balance.

So, sake! Today we went to the Shinjuku Sohonten branch of the Sake Cost Sake Brewery for the first time in a while. I was about to look at the menu for my first sake when a familiar staff member came up to me and offered me this. Abe Formal Haut 2023. It was so sweet and sour and carbonated. It's like drinking juice. It's so fresh.

Sentori Golden Beetle. Sentori's summer sake has a beetle on the label, and this year it was a golden beetle in collaboration with Imadeya. I was so excited when it came out. This is quite rare. The aroma is slightly woody, and the acidity is sharp but fruity and fresh. The sweetness is also very strong, and the texture is different from that of ordinary beetles. The usual Beetle is a bit more acidic, so it is easy to drink.

Banshu Ichiken Summer Usunigori Junmai Ginjo Nama Shu. It has a light aroma and sweetness with no bitterness from the lees, although there is quite a bit of lees involved. Basically, it is served at room temperature, but today it comes chilled. When served cold, the initial aroma is mild and sweet, but the cedar aroma that comes up after swallowing is amazing. Chiebijin Junmai Sake. It is one of the best sake in Kyushu. It is delicious. Although it is junmai, it tastes sweet and sour and light, and is very easy to drink. When I was about to pour this one, another customer asked me, "Can I have that one too? I was happy to pour it and at the same time relieved that I did not choose a different kind of sake.

So after work, it's weekend drinking time! Today we went to Fujiki Shoten in the Ikebukuro area for the first time in a while. We started with a summer sake. Ginban Special Junmai Summer Limited Edition. It has an astringent taste when it first starts, but later on, refreshing acidity and umami follow. This kind of sake is very summery.

Today we went to SAKARAKU in Takadanobaba for the first time in a little while. The last time I was here was on April 11, so this is the first time since I moved here. First up is the first "Hatsukatsuo," a dry Junmai by Bonito Masamune. It's so smooth! And thick! I checked the label on the back and found that it is a "sake yeast yeast yeast yeast yeast yeast". I checked the label on the back and found it to be a solid sake. It has a strong citrus acidity, and from there, a strong umami and miscellaneous flavors. It is a sake with a great impact.
