Kuroemon 16th Generation Yamahai Junmai Autumn Agari. The flavor is quite punchy as it is a once-hired sake. This punch is quite impressive for a hiyaoroshi sake.
I had to come to the direction of my parents' house, so I am having a drink at Kumegawa for the first time in a while. DenjiN is a well-known local restaurant. We started with sake.
Yamori Junmai Unadjusted, which I haven't had in a long time. The staff, who probably joined the restaurant after I moved in, is very good at serving sake.
Finally, I was given a bottle of Nabeshima special junmai sake. Beautiful and clear taste, I can't get enough of it. I wonder if Harvest Moon is coming out soon.
Hiran HATENA α-Type and β-Type are two interesting sake products that are completely masked and you have to guess what kind of sake they are. The QR code on the back label is connected to a Google form, where you can enter your answers and check your answers.
By the way, as I am not good at blind tasting, I could only guess whether it was hi-ire or nama-zake. That's too bad.
Today is my once-a-year day off work. I finished my work, so I went out for a drink for the first time in a while!
Today, I went to Sake Kouzou in Shinjuku for the first time in a very long time. I think the last time I was here was about half a year ago.
I started with Hououmida Dry Junmai Tsurugi to get myself in the right frame of mind. The dryness and aroma are very nice in the same bottle. I feel relieved when I drink it.
Kaze no Mori Akitsuho 657. if you have this, you must drink it! The original bottle had only about 80ml left, so I added a little more from the open-mouth bottle.
It's delicious. I can't get enough of this lightness.
After work, it's Hana-Kin. So I moved to Iidabashi and went to Fukuno Tori Iidabashi. It's been a while since I've been out drinking alone.
The first sake is today's service sake, Houjun Junmai Shu Dry. It is dry and crisp, but has a bitterness that spreads gradually. Delicious!
Tasake Tokubetsu Junmai Amoureuses is a sake that Nishida Sake Brewery, which had stubbornly refused to do PB until now, was persuaded by IMADEYA to finally produce a PB sake for the sake shop.
The label is stylish, but the taste is just like Tasake's special pure sake. It is very well-balanced.
Hanaoyukyu Ginpu Naokumi Junmai Daiginjo. If this is available, of course I'll order it. I like it.
It is characterized by its sweet and gorgeous aroma, but the aroma of this one is a little subdued. However, it still has a strong sweetness. I like it.
Today I went out for a drink after work alone for the first time in a while. The reason why it has been so long is because of a change in my lifestyle.
So I went to the Ikebukuro flagship store of the Sake Cost Sake Brewery.
I started with Tobiroki Special Junmai, which I hadn't had in a while. It's so good! This taste is still wonderful. It goes down smoothly and doesn't stop.
Shuho Junmai Ginjo BeachSide. surprisingly gorgeous. It has an impression of tropical flowers and fruits. I feel like I'm being pulled in by the label, though.
It would be delicious with cider.
Today, I was heading home after work when I was hit by a guerrilla downpour and couldn't make it home.
We started with Aizu Nakasyo Summer Limited Junmai Ginjo (......). Oh, they didn't have a bottle. I was happy but a little disappointed.
It is quite fresh and refreshing, but has a thick core of acidity. The umami is also well balanced.
Bunkajin Dry Junmai Sake. It is a sake from Tosa, Kochi by the way easy to understand, and its blueness is pleasant while being blue. It is crisp, sharp, and quickly takes on heat.
It is the kind of sake you want to drink on a hot day like this. Of course, it should be served at temperatures ranging from snow-cold to flower-cold.
Jumizu Special Junmai Summer Sake.
Jumizu is a brand of sake that is brewed with a 1:1 ratio of water and rice to produce a rich, umami and sweet taste of rice, but this one is intentionally watered down and served as a summer sake.
So it has a lightness as if it were watered down with water, but with a strong umami flavor that comes through on the first sip. It is an interesting experiment.
The manager of Fukuno Tori Kanda is such a sake fanatic that he is almost the only person I can entrust with the selection of the sake I order. So I enjoy listening to his explanations of the sake.
Today, I went to Kanda alone. I slip into the counter at Fukuno Tori Kanda. Sometimes I like to be alone and enjoy good sake here.
First up is Fuji Taikan Blue Label Junmai Sake. It was originally called "Taikan" but the name was changed. The flavor of rice and acidity spreads. The taste is clean and refreshing. Delicious.
Makiki Junmai Ginjo AKATSUKI Unfiltered Nama-shu. It's this sake with Takachiyo Shuzo, isn't it?
It's the opening of the first saké!
The opening of the mouth of the raw sake is a delightful one. The fruity acidity spreads. The taste is light and gentle, with a full aroma that spreads smoothly. I can't get enough of it.
It's the weekend, so I'm going to drink!
Today I went to FUKU NO TORI Kojimachi. I was sorry I hadn't been here recently, so I entered the restaurant while saying hello to the owner, who had come out before the ...... store.
First up was the Aizu Nakasyo Summer Limited Edition Ginjo-shu. It is light and refreshing, as is typical of aluzoe. It is refreshing and easy to drink. I had been paying attention to this sake for a while, but I didn't know that summer sake is like this.
Saku "Honochi" Junmai sake. Another sake that was opened. We are lucky to open two bottles in one day. It is sweet and full-bodied, with a cool acidity that spreads quickly. It is a very drinkable sake, yet not tiring to drink.
Snow Kayasha Junmai Ginjo. As usual, this sake is refreshing and light. The hot weather makes the freshness of this kind of sake even more enjoyable. Ah, it's good.
