I opened a bottle of the New Year's gift bottle I bought at the end of the year at a place I was visiting. I couldn't taste it due to the news of the earthquake,
The second drink of the all-you-can-drink year-end party at a certain place. Two drinks is the limit for an all-you-can-drink party. I had a taste of it....
A year-end party at a certain place. The first drink of the all-you-can-drink menu. The name of the drink was not so good for an aperitif, but it was delicious. It was a hit!
It was distinctly different from Akatombo.
It has a pleasant ginjo aroma and a sweet taste, but it goes down smoothly. The shopkeeper recommended it to me as a sake that he had received instruction from Jyushiyo. Sake for Christmas. Well, okay!
The first new sake of the year.
The bottle was opened with a swoosh.
The aroma is wonderful. You can feel the gorgeousness that only sake can have. Taste it.
Hiyoroshi.
I finally met Akatombo.
Hats off to the refreshing taste that blows away all the things of the day. It has a sweetness, but it also feels refreshing down the throat.
Now, at this very moment, is the road to heights yet to be seen. Sounds good. The taste of rice can be felt while the mouthfeel is refreshing. Delicious.
At Hasegawa Sake Shop in Nihonbashi, I rummaged for a sake that clearly "fills the map".
It is 13 degrees alcohol by volume. Hasami, only, has a nice sharpness.
Once again, I opened a bottle of the limited edition that I purchased at the brewery.
It tastes good, probably due to the different atmosphere from the tasting. At the moment of drinking, I thought it tasted light, but it had a surprisingly long aftertaste. It was surprisingly lingering. I imagine that this is the taste of sake favored in the Edo period.
The last drink to go with the yakitori. In Japanese, it is a 3-grain Nama-zume Hiyoroshi Junmai. Perhaps because of the afterglow of the previous two cups, this one also seemed a little sweet, but it was a graceful cup.
Second round of drinks to go with the yakitori. I got this from the seasonal recommendation. It was more robust, but also somewhat, personally, sweeter. I felt the coolness of summer sake.
This was the first drink to go with the yakitori. There was only "Shinmasa" on the menu, so I followed the recommendation.
I had a memory of No.6, so I assumed it would go well with the pre-dinner drink, and it was perfect.
My first visit to a brewery. I tasted three kinds of sake.
The Snow Goddess was a bit overwhelming in terms of elegance, perhaps because I drank it after looking at the price. I was overwhelmed by the elegance of the sake.
I was so impressed with the sake that I sent it home.
I also found a bottle of Mitsuo Yamakawa's 2023 Aki, which I got last year. I felt the history. Cheers to the Lord of Uesugi.
