When opened, it has a strong aroma of melon just before ripeness. When you drink it, it has a wood vat-like nuance and a flavor of the white part of the melon, almost like melon rind. The sweetness is very strong, but the concentration of other flavor elements is a bit lacking. Also, it is a bit bitter. This is the kind of flavor you often encounter when ordering sake for around 1,000 yen per cup at a sake tavern. Second day. The taste became thicker and the bitterness disappeared! But as you take two or three sips, it becomes hot and bitter. It is better to drink it quickly with water to soften it without rolling it on the tongue. P Strong and good aroma C Bad aftertaste Likelihood of buying again 3/10

I found an unfamiliar brand. Moreover, it is an active nigori. I am a sake pervert who obsessively searches and collects liquor stores in search of active nigori. Of course, this sake also fell prey to this pervert. Opening the bottle took quite a bit of time. When the bubbles settled down and I loosened the cork thinking it was safe to drink, the bubbles would suddenly come back up again. I repeated this over and over again, but it didn't help, so I poured it into a glass without a moment's pause when the water level had dropped. Fool, it will never come up again. The taste is simply described as sake lees with soda. There is nothing special to mention, but it is delicious. Regardless of the logic or philosophy behind it, it is delicious, so there is nothing we can do about it. Thinking about it calmly, I would drink it in a good mood if it was served as "active nigori," which is a mixture of clear sake, soda water and sake lees. We have a soda stream, so if I can get good sakekasu for free, I'll give it a try. Degree of liking 6/10

Good evening, Mr. Shirowama! I also received this last month! I'm glad to hear that we generally share the same opinion 👍Sakekasu with soda, it was really like that 🫧. I'm curious to see how it would be with clear sake and sakekasu carbonated in a soda stream 😆.

Good morning, shirotama 😃. I can imagine how to add gas to nigori sake with soda stream 🤤, but it would be interesting to see how to add gas to clear sake with sake lees 😄. Seems like it would be hard to get the smoothness of the tailings like commercial sake 🤔.

Good morning, Kotaro-san. There are a lot of sakekasu-flavored nigori (nigori sake with sake lees). I am a little disappointed, but it tastes good, so I am OK with the result. The soda stream was a just idea, but it looks like I have to do it.

Good morning, Aladdin. I think you need to knead the sake lees well with a spatula. Actually, if you pour soda stream directly into clear sake, the exhaust valve will stick. If you are thinking, "I didn't know you could do that!" Please be careful if you think "Oh, there you go!" lol (one previous offense).

In the Kansai region, leatherfish are called "hage" for some reason. However, it is not enough to call it "hage" without knowing when and where to say it. A sensible adult should be able to judge the occasion, and be considerate enough to say "kawahagi" instead of "hage," and that is what a sensible adult is. The same goes for sake. We tend to drink everything cold, but there are certainly some sake that need to be heated to show its best qualities. My favorite Kikuhime is no exception. Drinking it cold is a death sentence, but when warmed up, it is surprisingly delicious. But if you warm it up, you will be surprised at how much better it tastes. Tonight I'm having it warmed up with some sukiyaki meat that I bought at a 20% discount on Niku Day. Degree of liking 10/10

The two top brands are Collage and Kuroryu. The other day, a lady in the Izakaya was very beautiful, so I decided to go for "Koryu zu". The other day, the lady at the bar was so beautiful that I ordered a bottle of "Kuroryu Shizuku", which was not suitable for my height, but the bottom of the bottle tasted like a tear drop. The first time you drink it at home, you'll be surprised at how much it tastes like a teardrop. The first time you drink it, you'll be surprised at how much you like it. The taste of rice is very hot. It is surprisingly spicy. The taste is not clear and complex. There is not much sharpness. It is good to drink it in small sips. Postscript 5 days have passed. The overall taste has become gentle and tasty. Degree of liking 6/10 → 8/10

We often see reviews of "Sake we received" at Sake-no-Wa... I am envious. There is no one who would give sake to someone like me. Oh, I want to drink free sake. Someone give me free sake! I was praying for it, and then the sake arrived. I shared the white sea bream I caught the other day, and it turned out to be sake! I drank it cold. It is slightly yellow. The first taste was sourness, followed by a mixture of various elements, and it was thick. This is the kind of sake that a connoisseur would like. It is a bit like Chiaotai sake. I am a dirty old man who drinks sake, but I am not a "tsu" (connoisseur). I like thin, easy-to-understand sake that everyone can enjoy. It will take me another 40 years before I can appreciate this kind of sake.

Jay & Nobby I'm impressed that you know white ama-dai! I tried it as Matsukasa-age (deep fried pineapple) and it was a new taste even though it is a Japanese dish. I checked the brewery's website and found that the sake was not suitable for heating, so I drank it cold, feeling the flavor (I learned a lot).

Oh, 1,300 yen range? Cheap! But it's only 500ml. Well, it's okay. The opening ceremony passed without incident, with only a little bubbling coming up. The gasiness is enough to make your mouth foam. The balance of the taste is not sweet, sour, or spicy, just the way I like it. At 12 degrees alcohol, it's a bit easy on the liver (though I do drink it for that reason). The gaseous nigori sake is so gaseous that you can't really taste the details of the flavor. It is good to let it sit for a while and drink it after it has settled down, but it is also unfortunate for both parties that too many details become apparent. Since this kind of sake is not originally intended for pure taste, I think it is chic to drink it quickly and without any confusion. Despite all that I said, it was delicious. I like it 8/10

Rumiko's picture is missing. Why? I feel lonely. Am I the only one who feels as if I lost something? First, the opening ceremony. I was scared because the triceps-style label said it would take 10 to 20 minutes, but I guess it was a good thing that I had it cooled down to a crisp, because it only took about five minutes to complete the process. It tasted young (not much flavor). There are occasional glimpses of umami and a robustness that is typical of sake. The alcohol content is 17%, so while I was saying things like, "Hmmm, the hint of aroma...", I started to get intoxicated. I opened the bottle within two days, so it must have been delicious. Next time, I would like to drink it while loving Rumiko's label. Degree of liking 7/10

I cooled it down to a crisp and went to open the bottle. When I loosened the screw cap, the bubbles and corkscrews came up all at once. It took about 3 minutes to open. This is...promising! The aroma is what we call sake (lol). It smells like sake lees from regular sake. It has a gassy feeling that makes your mouth foam, and it tastes like sakekasu amazake, with a moderate sweetness. It is a Harushika, but it is not spicy and has a moderate sweet and sour taste. I think it is worth it because it is only available now. In fact, I had a bad feeling about Harushika because it is just a spicy sake. However, I drank a hiyaoroshi (also not my favorite) at a sushi restaurant in Kobe, which was surprisingly delicious, and that made me change my opinion about this brand. But that may have been because there was sushi in front of me. Degree of liking 6/10

I drank it cold on the Shinkansen on the way back from visiting my children. I was a bit appalled that I should skip drinking sake on the train on the way home, but I could only drink Ozeki last night in Noge, Yokohama, so I couldn't resist. The first sip had a gorgeous aroma, which was the best feature. The first sip had a gorgeous aroma, which was its best feature, followed by a tangy taste, but it lacked acidity, and I thought it tasted a little dull and watery. So I spread it on my tongue and drank it sloppy, and it tasted like rice. On a side note, the Hakkaisan cold sake I had at Sushi Zammai for lunch was even better than I had expected, with a rich rice flavor and a long, lingering finish that made it taste like a wild samurai. I was reminded of the fact that brands that have made their mark in an era are very capable of doing so.

As an old man of the generation who associates with Nippen's Miko the moment he reads "Miko...," I like this oriental aspect of the product. The aroma is rice. It becomes fruity when the glass is turned. The taste is a firm pungent taste that comes forward. The spiciness is so hot that it is enough to kill 100 brain cells with each sip. However, it is not dry and spicy, but fresh. The sourness and sweetness are about two levels weaker, while the umami is about two levels stronger. The taste is not round like soup stock, but sharp. It is fresh and light with a strong bitter taste. Although it has a strange taste, it is clean and tasty because there are no unpleasant smells or flavor elements mixed in. On the second day, the spiciness seems to have backed off a bit and the corners have been removed. No loss of flavor (degradation) and tasty. Degree of liking 7/10

Aromatic and sweet with a fanta degree of gasiness. The supernatant was more to my liking in taste and aroma. The sake lees flavor is more pronounced when mixed with the oli, and I can tell the difference clearly. I am not a fan of carbonation (I can't burp), so I appreciate the weaker gas. However, this may vary from bottle to bottle. As for the taste, just as "Usui Sachiyo," who appears in Ojarumaru, cannot drink new tea bags because they are too rich, I am also a poor person, so I cannot keep up with the richness of the higher-priced sake. But this time, perhaps because of the low alcohol content (14%), I did not get tired of drinking it. Degree of liking 8/10 PS: The taste did not deteriorate even after 3 days. Well done.

Today is the day of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. Not necessarily in honor of it, but there happened to be a sake with a limited edition Kobe label, so I opened a bottle. It is an active nigori with a hole in the bottle. It is neither sweet nor sour, but slightly bitter and umami. There is also a slight gassy feeling. For some reason, I like this kind of sake the best. It is a roaring taste. Oh, it's delicious, it's so delicious. We are thankful that we can enjoy drinking sake in this way today. Today is Adult's Day. As a dirty old man, it has nothing to do with me, but I opened a bottle of this Arabashiri. The brand name is cherry blossom, but it smells like plum gum. It has a light sweetness and bitterness with just enough gas to make my mouth foam, and I feel a sense of youthfulness, as if I were about to start riding on a stolen motorcycle, but I guess that's forgivable because it's a new sake. It is the same for newcomers (stealing a motorcycle is a crime). The road to alcohol is a hard, hard, hard road... Hey, what's wrong all of a sudden? (Are you okay?) If you've been scuttled five times since the end of the year, of course you're going to want to sing. But I'm not giving up. I'm going to drink good sake! So here's Cheap Pie, taking a break this time! The fruity, with a slight cemedine smell. It's a little tongue tingling and sweet. I feel like I've been encountering this kind of profile sake a lot lately. It is usually delicious, but I wonder if it would be zetak to ask for a sake that exceeds it (at a reasonable price). By the way, Bunkajin and Banshu Issen, which I drank at the end of the year, were really delicious. Degree of liking 7/10

An intriguing bottle to look at. This was one of the three brands I bought at once without looking closely at the price, and the bill was so high I freaked out. So, opening the bottle was uneventful and no gas feeling. The taste, First at the top clear. Hmmm...I guess it's normal dark. Mix it. It tastes a little like amazake. The aroma is closer to my taste than before. I like "Nakamichi," but it lacks the lightness and freshness of new sake. It tastes good when you spread it on your tongue and drink it. Yes, it is delicious. It's very good, but it's not what I want to drink now. It was expensive. I had high expectations for it...too bad. I guess price and personal satisfaction are not always directly proportional. Degree of liking 5/10

Haginodew is my favorite. It has a bitter taste, but I like its aroma. So I took a sip, picturing the fresh taste of freshly squeezed sake. What? First came the dry sourness, followed by the rice flavor. There was no freshly squeezed taste. In a word, it tasted like plain rice, which I didn't like. I didn't know there was such a thing. I let it sit for a few days, but neither the taste nor the aroma changed. In the meantime, I got used to it and was able to enjoy the flavor of the rice. I confess that I am still a little disappointed, but I would have liked to have tasted the marriage of Haginodew and the freshly squeezed flavor. Degree of liking 6/10

Happy New Year! I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and guidance this year. Occasional Series Pray for Aizan 40 I immediately enjoyed it with toso (Japanese sake). I was shocked by the dense flavor and thought to myself, "What is this sake... are they feeding the sake rice with crowberries as a fertilizer? The dense flavor was so shocking that I was like Yuuzan Umihara. It is sweet and slightly carbonated. The aroma, taste, and quality of the sake are all perfect. However, its brilliance fades rapidly. It must be consumed immediately after opening. For someone like me, it is a luxury sake that is not suitable for my stature, and I got tired of drinking it because it was too rich. Fukuju is often sold by tasting at Kobe Hankyu. For some reason, I had never had a chance to taste it before, but since I had to go to the trouble of buying it (what?), I decided to buy it. I bought it. There is no aroma. First, there was the acidity. Then, the explosive rice flavor gives it a strong sense of being a delicious sake. It is clearly spicy, equivalent to Java Curry Dry Mouth in terms of curry, but there is nothing that makes you feel a strong sensation. Despite the neat label, it is a sake for the tastes of the experts. Degree of liking 5/10 Today is New Year's Eve. This is the last sake of the year. So, I would like to introduce this year's Kanji characters. Kizuna. Oh, I made a mistake. [Walking] I started walking because I drank too much alcohol.
